"We waited for about 10 minutes to order our meal. the lady who took our order said it would be ready in about 25 minutes. I set a timer up and left as the waiting area was overcrowded. I came back and waited 20 minutes, almost an hour. it would be wise to order ahead. if they want to sit, reserve them."

Think about it, they have won 1st place at the national championship how many years? Just about every year they have competed. Die hard BBQ fanatics are always raving about TX, NC, and MO BBQ, but we are fortunate enough to have #1 right here!"

"Was in town for a fun weekend with my girlfriend and we decided on Sardine based upon the previous reviews of this establishment. The pan-seared whitefish for $22 was way overcooked and the sauce was very heavy, the Orechiette pasta for $15 was not what we expected, it was a heavy pasta base and the broccoli rabe was extremely tart. Finally, Brittany our server didn't bring the first entrée's out at the same time and was quite inattentive. For $58 for the meal and a $7 tip, I would rather spend my money elsewhere. BOO Yah!"

"We love Lao Laan-Xang at their Williamson Street location, so I was excited to try their Atwood location. I'm happy to report the food was just as good! I'm not sure if there were differences in the menus themselves, but they seemed quite similar.<br>

Everything we ate was fresh with lots of complimentary flavors and textures. We enjoyed the pork egg-rolls and spicy sausage. The beef salad was spicy and amazing. The larp was outstanding. Like most southeast Asian food, the flavors were a mix of sweet, salty, sour, spicy, and everything was fresh. For either location, the food at Lao Laan-Xang seems to be spot-on.<br>

The main difference was in the atmosphere and the service. While the Williamson location has a quirky, I'm eating at my Lao neighbor's house feel, the Atwood location has a professional restaurant feel. It also has a more complete bar w/specialty cocktails. "I dont like to eat at fast food burger joints, but it was late and I was ready to eat about anything. I ordered the spicy jalapeño brisket sandwich. It was great! It was spicy! I saw real diced jalapeños in there, and the brisket beef was very good. Looked and tasted like real meat. Not at all like the meat that is found on any of their original menu sandwiches. For those of you, (like me), who can't get past the pressed meat deal, I think you'll be happy with this quality of meat. Ha! At least I "thought" the quality tasted good. I was so hungry I inhaled that thing.... burning tongue and all. My teenage son ordered it too, and didn't think it was very spicy. So there are two different opinions. Can't comment on anything else, because that's all I ordered. I'd order it again too, although it says 'limited time only'."
