"Food is pretty darn good here! Service is a little slow, but nothing to write home about. Their curry and noodle dishes were surprisingly good. Sashimi, Sushi, Maki rolls and hand rolls were all pretty good. No complaints. Setting is pretty nice, used to be an Italian restaurant probably. Considering the price, probably one of the better AYCE sushi restaurants around in the GTA."

"I brought my parents to this restaurant two weeks ago. I heard good things about it,but was I disappointed. First of all, I tried making reservations since my parents are older and I didn't want them to have to stand around waiting. I was told they don't make reservations for groups of less than 6. I wasn't to thrilled about this, but decided to go anyway. My mistake. When we arrived, they said it would be about half an hour. It actually took one hour before we got a table. Then, we had to wait at least ten minutes for a menu. I guess the regulars don't need one because they asked us if we wanted one. We did. They brought the menus with a small piece of paper. When I inquired what the paper was for, they told me I had to write down my order. I had to chase a waiter around to ask about some of their items. After finally placing my order, we waited quite a long time for the meal. Which wasn't worth the wait. I read great reviews about the lobster so I ordered it. It was terrible. The black bean sauce was slimy and there was practically no lobster meat. It was all shell. We also ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce, but it was never brought to the table, so I can't comment on that. The Cantonese Chow mein was terrible. The noodles where fried to a crisp, with practically no sauce, so we felt like we were eating chips. The won ton soup was probably the best thing we ate, and it wasn't really that great. All that for $140.00. It was definitely NOT WORTH IT!!!! I would never go back. If you are in the area and want chinese food, stick with Cynthia's. It's 100% better and cheaper!!!!"

"This is my first visit and I only came because there was a wait at the Keg. Well move over Keg! I will definitely be back to Canyon Creek. My New York was perfectly cooked and then peppercorn sauce was very good as well. The vegetables wete excellent. At first I thought they steak lacked a little flavor, but I soon realized it just had much less salt on it. After a few bites I began to enjoy them less salty taste of my meal. They service was also very good. See you soon Canyon Creek."

"I know people want money, and some say bigger is always better. her maki is almost impossible to eat. they are too big. the aromen are located on the same with others, but considering we eat only maki, not pleasant."

"A few other people have written about the rude kellnerin there. I thought we were the only ones that were badly treated for some reason, which is not the case. the food is under the average. the same food is served by all neighbouring restaurants. I have visited the place 4 times – due to haste/friends who suggest / not available seats in neighboring restaurants etc. 2out of 4 times- I experienced terrible behavior of the staff. I confront these people maybe not well paid or a bad day. but this seems to be in harmony with others. Maybe they'll take their business somewhere else. there is a beautiful restaurant right next to them- tandoori host; they are welcome- try tandoori host militia."

"I had seen this place and finally got a chance to try it. They say the mark of a good Chinese restaurant is Chinese people eating in it. So this should be the case with Pho Vaughan although I don't know that they were all Vietnamese. I am no expert and only had Pho a couple of times but I didn't get the taste explosion I was hoping for. Medium is a very large bowl but it was very mild and SO much noodles. I was instructed on how to write down my order next time and I was a little put off by the waitress sweeping the floor at every opportunity."
