"Daughter ordered burger without relish and gherkin but came loaded with it, sent it back...took 15m to cook another but i had ate my meal by then. 2nd Burger was dry and had a thick piece of plastic cheese which had been reheated.....no one Appologied or asked if her 2nd meal was ok...should of refused to pay but daughter didn't want to make a fuss. "This used to be a great restaurant but after our recent visit we will not be going back again. Despite having booked a table we were told it was very busy and eventually shown to a table right next to the toilets, next to the stack of high chairs. Not the best start. Another table did become available and we asked to move to that one. The food was mediocre at best, tempura prawns to start with which were barely warm. My pizza was similarly barely warm so I sent it back and it didn't come back any better. I asked the waiter to take it away and that I had no intention of paying for it. A terrible experience that I don't want to repeat."

"The pub is nicely decorated and has small cosy rooms. On arrival we had a warm welcome by bar staff and shown to our table. On ordering the waitress took our order wrong, so when the food came out it was incorrect, we did not complain as it was a special occasion. The food was okay, portion size is small and on the expensive side. There are better pubs within the area."

"I love this place! I am a regular weekend, when I am in the city, I will get my usual order, and even though in the rule a baseball cap and a mask on, the owner always recognizes me and greets me. she puts the company in social kitchen, and it's so nice to have a small business that feels personal and familiar in my neighbour. my way to order is the lachs chili meal (will be with fantastic mac and cheese and a little kale salad, plus a green smoothie. yes, I said salmon chili never saw it on the menu elsewhere, but it's delicious! They also have a vegan escape. they also have espresso drinks, smoothies that are expensive, but it is worth a tasty bite (plus they can add ingwer! and carrot cake. they are open only on the weekend, but that's worth waiting! and they are located directly on the uptown farmer market that happens on Saturday, so they can immerse themselves for a smoothie sip while they search the market."
