"I went here to get a birthday together and was surprised that it was big. You can't really say it from outside. It was late night and maybe near the closing hour. The dining area was already packed, but the bar section jumped. Still many people enjoy the music and drink. Beverages are in the expensive side, but strong, making you worth your money. The atmosphere faded with talc and laughter. I'd say this is a must to see for yourself and have a good time."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"Excellent food and service! I had scallops, they were perfectly cooked and served on top of light fluffy butternut squash ravioli. My husband had filet and short ribs; so tender you could cut them with a fork! We also had dessert which was equally as fabulous!We had a table in the front which was great for people watching. Highly recommend!!!"

"Nice enough restaurant, but way too noisy. Food very good but not outstanding. I'd flagged our group as celebrating a birthday (my grandson's 19th), but the waiter told us they didn't do anything for special occasions -- a disappointment since the question was asked when I made the reservation through Open Table. A bit on the expensive side, but I suppose that's to be expected on a warm summer weekend night."

"Great location as we were headed to the Belasco Theatre, and it was just steps away. Friends ordered salads and were very impressed and said they were excellent. I ordered the grilled shrimp wrap, and while the flavors were yummy, it was kind of a mess to eat because there was almost too much filler. Fries were delicious, and beer selection was good. Overall, I would highly recommend!!"

"The prices are in the high end so be ready to pay if you want a great experience. The treatment by the wait staff was over the top.
