"This excellent cafe is located within the complex of Armidale's (also excellent) regional art gallery. It is a pleasant, airy space, with seating inside and out. Their coffee is excellent and they sell some very tempting cakes - can recommend the carrot cupcakes and the peach and macadamia slice. Didn't stay for lunch but the ploughman's plate looked good. Next time."

"5-star food let down by 1-star service. Had dinner at Indian Zaika this evening as a part of a table of 8 (which we had reserved a table for) and experienced quiet possibly the worst service I have had for a very long time, which was due to the ridiculously long wait time for our main meals and zero communication or apology for why. Our party fully arrived at about 6.40 and by the time we ordered we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant. Things started ok with our minimal entrees arriving perhaps 20mins after we ordered. But we were then left waiting for what would have been over an hour for our mains, which were brought out in a completely disjointed manner which meant half the table finished their meal before the other had fully received theirs. Drinks which we had brought ourselves and the fact the group didn’t want to cause drama kept us as patient as possible but we did not receive any communication about what was causing the excessive wait, nor an apology. It even took 10 minutes to get the bill after two requests. It was such a disappointing experience as the food was fantastic. Would only ever visit again if it was with a takeaway order placed well in advanced."

"Had breakfast at two goats. Really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The staff were always smiling, helpful and quick with their service. Food was delicious! Had the 'Jaydos' and was served by the young las it was named after. Lovely service, lovely food, lovely experience. Will certainly be back next time we come through Armidale."
