"I have dined here a number of times over the years and always if we wanted a real treat. First off, if you are on a tight budget, do not come here. Having said that, you get what you pay for. Order appetizer, main course and dessert to enjoy the full Italian experience. The restaurant is in a strip mall in the south end of Calgary. Since it is handy to where I live I have not tried many others that are, say, in the North. It is quiet and a bit romantic. A place to dress up a bit. Years ago, they had a guitarist on weekends but they do not anymore. The wine list is fairly extensive and they go for more upscale vintages. If you are looking for the basic Ruffino Chianti you will not find it here. I have never had a bad meal here and guests that I have taken here for the first time have never been disappointed."

"We came for dinner following graduation ceremonies and were delighted. The fresh focaccia with the infused oil and vinegar was a delightful start for hungry children. Our meals were delicious! One of our diners said it was the best cannelloni ever! Service was attentive but not overwhelming! Winesday was a nice surprise (9 oz pour for the price of a 6 oz) but would highly recommend any night of the week!"

"My husband and I went there and the service is very slow and not good but the food is decent. They have different bruschetta which are okay - and there appetizer menu is really good. It could be a good place for a bunch of appies as their main courses are pricy and not great."

"I have tried almost all of the calzones and a few flatbreads and I am in love! They really know how to satisfy their customers. It is definitely the place I go to when I crave Mediterranean food! "Ordered the veal. First off the veal and pasta were excellent. But the details...not so much. Bread was stale. Wait staff apologetic, and indicated that is was Monday and therefore leftover from the weekend. He returned after heating it up which made it worse. Broccoli was over cooked and carrots under cooked. Like I said details. Not terrible.Would I return, not likely."

"I have been on the road since July 1st travelling across Canada from Toronto, my birth place, sharing my music at house concerts, yoga studios etc, while I also finish a book I am writing. Last night I went to Pizza Bob's open mic night at the invitation of Zak Keller. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am very happy to share that is was a warm and wonderful experience. Such a rich display of very talented performers, lovely kind hearted people, and an atmosphere that was relaxed and very welcoming. ...and the Pizza was delicious (I had the smoked salmon). If you are looking for great food, great vibes and a wide cross section of music, this definitely is one of the places to go. Thanks for having me get up and play a few of my own songs Tif. I thoroughly enjoyed those who joined in with their instruments. Thanks for introducing me to Pizza Bob's Zak!!"
