"The food at Busshari was hit and miss. Standouts: miso cod - can't go wrong with this beautiful buttery fish; sashimi platter - decent variety of fish, the scampi was especially delicious; sesame tart - strong hit of sesame flavour; ice creams - matcha, sesame and houjicha were all terrific with a creamy, smooth texture and good depth of flavour. OK: miso pork ribs - tasty marinade but let down by the chewy toughness of the meat; popcorn shrimp - not what I expected but not bad; sushi & gyoza - average. Bad: karaage chicken - more like nanban with a soft, not crispy batter; miso eggplant - really greasy; coffee jelly - strange taste but could be a personal thing. Generally, sashimi and desserts are the forte here. Restaurant service was polite but rude over the phone."

"Had a lovely dinner with some friends and couldn't be happier with the experience. The food was divine, delicious cocktails and great service. Loved the design of the restaurant too, big open layout and great decor. Will definitely be back!"
