"My Taiwanese friend brought us to this place, mentioning it's a traditional one. The venue was comfortable and clean. Staff were customer-focussed. Service was fast and efficient. We managed to order 6 dishes:
1. Ma Po Tofu-the best we had ever had so far
2. Stir fried Gailan-bland and a little over cooked
3. Chicken Soup with bitter gourd and pineapple - the soup was tasty but would have more flavour if cooked longer until the chicken was tender and the bitter melons were softened
4. Drunken chicken - nice chilli flavour with great aroma of garlic, ginger and sweet basil
5. Salt and garlic fried prawns - good size prawns and perfectly cooked but not much flavour
6. Taiwan style braised pork knuckle - everyone but not me loved it since I wasn't a fan of skin and fatty meat

Gosh so much food and fun. Great companies made dinner tastier!"

"Really ordinary food. They were precooked, and little amount. I saw some people said the simple decor at the store, but I care more about the food. The service is ordinary too. If the chef is the boss,he has poor service. No return."

"First the service here is good and staff are friendly. What I like the food here, is not too salty but not tasteless. we came here with a group of 20, and per person is around AUD$12."

"Went for a brekkie at the local Coffee Club in Springwood. When I arrived to e parking spot, I was shock to see the closed down of this cafe.
It is one of the best cafe who served Campos around the area and it also was the first place that I started to have my default brekkie of poached eggs and smoked salmon.
Honestly, I have an odd feeling of something wrong at my last visit here couple of months ago. It seemed under a new management. No more smoked salmon was on the menu. I was forced to have the poached eggs with bacon but no toast.
Coffee was still Campos but the savory dish was mikes away as compared to the dish that I had before without any garnish. That reflected the passion from the production side. It maybe the reason of declining in business and eventually lead to closing down. Or, it may be fail in negotiation of the lease. Who knows but I feel upset about it. Even though it was no more there, I prefer to write this review to have a full stop to this business.
Rating: rating: July Aug Sep Aug"

"Around a week ago, I had the pleasure of joining Mr and Mrs. Tomcat for brunch. Situated in a small complex is a family owned business, named The Dale Espresso Bar & Cafe. The establishment is furnished with clean wooden tables and comfy chairs with cushions. There is a vast selection of foods on offer including your good old Breakfast staples, Sandwiches, Sweets, Breads and Salads. For beverages, there were Smoothies, Milkshakes, Coffees, and Teas available. We met up on a Thursday morning settling with the following order: Mocha coffee, Lemon&Ginger Tea, Piccolo, Eggs Benedict, Veggie Breaky and an Eggs Supreme.

Coffee&Tea - The coffees didn't take long to arrive (PNG single origin blend by Simply Beans). Starting off with my Mocha, unfortunately, did not consist an adequate balance of chocolate and coffee. Overall, tasted like a hot chocolate more so than a caffeinated beverage. Presented next was the piccolo, which I have no feedback for as I didn't get a taste. However, I do remember the coffee giving out a beautiful aroma (Mr. Tomcat finished every drop in that little cup, assuming it must have been good!). Last on our beverage list was the lemon&ginger tea. The loose leaf tea contained a wonderful soothing scent, very fragrant with nice equal flavors of both lemongrass and ginger.

Food - The Eggs Benedict was served first with, Turkish bread, Smoked Ham, Poached Eggs and Hollandaise sauce. The Turkish bread was well-toasted layered with a generous amount of smoked ham that consisted nice meaty flavors. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked exposing a runny yolk when cut into. Finished off was the creamy hollandaise sauce.

The second dish on the table was the Veggie Breaky consisting, sourdough toast, home-made beans, mushrooms, spinach, halloumi cheese and poached eggs. The beans were soft and flavourful (by far my favorite beans!). Halloumi cheese had a nice chewy texture. Accompanied with perfectly cooked toast, poached eggs, mushrooms, and spinach.

Finally, the Egg Supreme: Toasted Turkish Bread, Baby Spinach, Butcher's Smoked Bacon, Poached Eggs, Avocado and Hollandaise Sauce. Again, everything was delightful, with the added fan-like ripe avocado and the crispy bacon I can tell you, my palate was having a pretty good time! ????

All in all, customer service was great. Staff were welcoming and were always smiling. Thank you so much, Kate, for your awesome service! ????????

Good Stuff: Keep an eye out for their lunch and breakfast specials! Their coffees and teas are a must try!! Parking in the complex and street parking is available."

"After spending lots of time reading Indian restaurant reviews last Saturday night I made the ill-fated decision to choose Lemon Chillies for our much loved Saturday night Indian feast. I ordered the Kerala beef mappas, Nonya fried rice with chicken satay, garlic naan and garlic and cheese naan. I asked the person on the phone to make sure the rice dish was mild because it was to share between my two young children. This dish turned out to be full of chilli, which would have been ok because my husband and I would have eaten it, however the rice was gluggy and the flavour was as per the title of this review - average. My other problem with this rice dish was that it was full of very fatty pieces of chicken thigh meat. The best part about it was the satay chicken and fried egg. The beef dish was ok, however once again, average flavour and abosulutely full of black pepper. I guess this is because we asked for 'hot' and instead of 'chilli hot' we got 'black pepper' hot. The beef was also a little bit chewy - certainly not tender/melt in your mouth meat that I would expect from this type of dish. As for the bread, both types were chewy and lacking in flavour while the cheese and garlic naan was really thick like a pizza base. Not happy at all with this experience."
