"Kirin is located in the fashionable High Street precinct at the newly developing (Fort Bonafacio Global City at Taguig, Metro Manila. Like most establishments on this “strip”, Kirin has been designed with due care in terms of the façade and décor, which are both pleasing...to the eye and provide a good first impression. It is quite a large facility with seating for more than fifty at least. The food is standard Chinese fare with a good selection of soups, appetizers including dumplings (shrimp hakao, fresh shrimp steamed rice roll, etc. and mains. There are a few unusual items that are worth a try, for example the spinach and quail egg soup. The manager on duty is quite happy to discuss a suitable combination of dishes to suit your desired need or palate. Kirin is one of the few places in Manila able to serve the genuine Peking Duck, which is prepared next to your table, and one is given options on the fate of the duck once the skin has been removed. The staff seemed dedicated enough and eager to assist. However, they can be distracted when the restaurant gets really busy, which is quite often during the weekends."

"I was so excited trying this place months back because of some good reviews.<br> <br> Our visit though was disappointing. Pink Panda promised an asian fusion and I truly love asian dishes.<br> <br> For main course I ordered Babi Guling: Roast Pork belly with peanut sauce and fried buns. The portions are so small, i wasn't expecting that on a restaurant like this. There're nothing special with it. Meat is soft but the sauce is so-so and the buns with the pork doesn't compliment each other. <br> <br> My boyfriend ordered Grilled Bangus Belly: Presentation was good. Wrapped in banana leaf and grilled. Fish is not 1st grade, not as milky as expected, kinda muddy after taste. <br> <br> For drinks, I ordered cold Vietnamese coffee. Looks nice. Iced black coffee with milk portion in the bottom of the glass. Im not sure how authentic Vietnamese coffees taste like but it's just espresso with condensed milk. The mango shake was too sour we have to asked them to add sugar or milk on it to make it... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"I had for take out their caramel chocolate cheesecake. It's an overpriced and average cake. The caramel is good and super sweet. Below it is a chocolate chiffon but you can barely taste the chocolate. Below it is a layer of whipped cream. And below is supposed to be cheesecake but it's just yellow chiffon with a slight taste of cheese. Order their other cakes that are way better than this."

"Dined with my ex-GF in this resto years ago and we could only remember how good the steak was. Fast forward 2017 and we came back expecting the same experience. We could not say the same anymore. Ordered their bestseller- Gulliver's cut. Taste and size were good, but the texture of the meat is inferior. Seems that it was not thawed enough before grilling. The yorkshire pudding, spinach souffle and baked potato would not impress as well. Sad that we now have this place in the bottom of our list. :("

"My hubby and i dined here for our wedding anniversary. It was the best fine dining i've experienced by far. We had pasta and wine.. And while we are enjoying the food, the two old man came in our table and played some beatles song with their guitar and celo. It's really romantic ☺️"

"L'Entrecote in Burgos Circle is a fancy yet at the same time really homey French-Swiss restaurant. They have been in BGC for 7 years, and that's quite a feat! I had the pleasure of spending my Friday lunch here together with my fellow Zomato foodies with the owner, Chef Martin Kaspar himself.<br> <br> I always find it a joy to be in food meet-ups wherein the owner is personally there to share some thoughts and background as to how their restaurant came to be. That's what Chef Martin did, he sat down, ate and had wine *wink wink* with us. He gave us a brief background as to what L'Entrecote means and its significance around the world. Also, as to how he started his restaurant here in the Philippines and how he had to change and adapt with the change of times without sacrificing the great quality of food he serves to his patrons. It was an insightful conversation with an experienced chef-restaurateur such as himself, and I wallowed in it.<br> <br> Now let's go to the best part -... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"
