"Keep trying for my "holy grail" of food ; looking for a wonderful Indian restaurant but most just border on ok and have an identikit menu.Having tried all the others on the coast, thought I should try something different to the others at Coolum Beach and tried Himalaya which looks out of the way but in reality is only about 5 minutes away at Mount Coolum near the IGA store.The food was superb - the lamb with spinach was superb as was the rice - so used to rice that is watery and no substance and this was as good as I have had in years.The servings are extremely generous and the value is amazing.The only downside is the waiting time - although they suggested 45 minutes to an hour (which is longer than I would normally wait); it actually took close on 1 1/2 hours.The naan bread was ordinary but this is a minor gripe.If the food wasn't so good, would just write it off as a bad night but this was good enough to return."

"Decided to stop in on our stroll along the strip for coffee and breakfast and was not let down at all. Not only was the staff wonderful to deal with, their bake goods were just as pleasing. I had the spinach and feta roll and...it was so good I took another one to go when I left. Coffee was amazing as well. Well worth stopping in for a treat!!!"
