"Little pub/bar on George Street. 5 for $25 beer or Seltzer are a lot. Only the problem is if you sit on the terrace, you get the music of Green Sleeves as well as martini bar over the street and the street stage directly on the street. It was very annoying to hear 3 competing different songs at once. We had to go because it was too hard on the head. Maybe you'll be fine when you sit inside."

"We decided to give Kelsey's a second try after an absolutely horrific experience our first time there. The service was honestly the worst I've experienced in St. John's. I felt obligated to write this review. My son has a fish allergy and ordered the chicken burger with no BBQ sauce (as most sauces have Worcestershire). We informed our server several times of the allergy and when he received his food, it had the sauce. The server tried to convince us the BBQ sauce was "safe" and was irritated that we asked to see the allergy menu/speak with the manager or cook. We waited over 15 min and no one showed up. Then had to track down another server to relay our concerns. Finally the manager showed up (not apologetic at all). She took the meal back and it was about a 25 min wait for the new sandwich. All of our meals were freezing while trying to sort this out. My son didn't even end up eating his meal. We asked to talk to the manager again re: our terrible experience. She came back and explained they are "busy" and had a "pile of reservations" and again no apology. She was very abrupt and did not offer any compensation to the meal. Please use this as a warning for any food allergies. If this issue had been dealt with appropriately or if the Manager had any customer service skills, maybe we would give it another try. However we will never return."

"Went here for supper on Friday evening. Restaurant was very busy, we were seated with menus and beverages promptly. I never expect too much from this chain, few mix ups in the order, fixed in reasonable time. The fries were the freshest part of the meal. See you again in twelve months or so Swiss chalet! Need some time to forget."
