"We liked the menu and noticed a fairly large clientele at 5 in the afternoon, so we decided to try it. It turned out that the 'crowd' was from a busload of tourists and apparently the restaurant wasn't staffed up to handle it. The service was very slow. The PEI mussels were not very large and the broth was some weird tomato-based one. We ordered a dinner salad which contained old limp lettuce that was not fresh at all. The other meal was overcooked and had way too much salt. We left half of our meals on the plate. Finally, the waiter returned and we told him our story and he blamed us saying, "Well, if you had told me earlier I could have done something about it." Had he returned shortly after serving the meals, like all good waiters should, we would have indeed told him."

"The Hawaiian pizza was not cooked through. The arugula prosciutto salad delicious! The red velvet cake delivered to table eat too late. The restaurant a little to cold. Needed the furnace put higher. ...so not a great experience this time."

"Local restaurant I am happy to eat here. they have a lot of dingen on the menu, whether they are looking for a complete steak dinner with 2 pages or simply in the mood for a burger a, fries or a club sandwich. to them even prime rib every day of the week, use them only at the weekend. they are closed on Sunday evening after I believe 2pm, and are closed on Monday."

"The new vegan winter ramen called mothra men is delicious, with oodles of extra goodies on top, including sweet potatoes, bok choy, soy dumplings, and mushrooms. I also really like the smaller brothless ramen tom ka mazemen which has a coconut curry sauce and chopped cabbage and carrots. Much much better than my first ramen experience here see below . I 'd also recommend the vegan yuzu lemonade and yuzu sorbet really delicious and intensely citrus y. The sorbet can come with a vegan coconut whipped cream. The vegan meatballs are tasty but you get so few that I probably won 't order them again. I went to Kaiju when they first opened here and enjoyed the waitstaff and the number of vegan options, but neither I nor the other vegan with me were really impressed by the food, especially the disappointing vegan ramen. Now that I 've tasted some of their new options, I will definitely come back again. I really hope that they keep the winter ramen mothra men as a year round dish!"
