"I wouldn’t go back because of the service alone. I wasn’t even greeted when I greeted the ladies working. They laughed and spoke in Spanish which they shouldn’t assume people don’t understand. My food was thrown on top of each other and I wasn’t asked which beans I wanted. The food had good flavor but I had lost my appetite before I even tasted it. I threw the pernil out. It’s actually tasted old. This was just my experience and my taste buds. God Bless."

"On Thursday evening following the new year, the crowd was as sparse as I 've ever seen. Under 12 guests, including this writer and guest. The service was good, although not great, probably due to a language barrier, where the server spoke French fluently, and English to a functional manner, but did not seem to understand tap water no ice , and poured Evian, subsequently billing us $36 for that. He did remove it upon request, and was professional, seemed kind, and was attractive. I ordered the whole fish special, and the $135 was never communicated to me, and while it was delicious, it was not worth that price. The mashed butter, with potatoes were creamy, indulgent, and rich, and table bread perfect crisp and satisfying with just enough flavor to balance the meal. Another language discrepancy was that I asked Are my left overs packed? Is the spinach there. to which the server ordered another spinach dish. Annoying, but not painfully so. Based on this, I would recommend Bagatelle, especially for Sunday Brunch, at which point it is a zoo of beautiful people, and loud music, a far cry from the intimate dinner I attended."

"A lovely spot that I may not have found had my regular coffee shop not had been closed. Very much an immediate french ambiance, and really helpful staff every time I've visited. The lattes are my go to, but somehow I fell into a routine of getting their ham and cheese croissant. Can't go wrong with any of the pastries! Take a little trip to this in between avenues spot if you like your espresso, highly recommend!"

"Wonder bread This wonderful bready spread isn’t your average plain white wonder bread though. @breadsbakery makes insanely delicious pastries and bread, sweet or savory. For a @grabbdapp collab, they gave me a tour through the bakery, some treats to try in store, and an entire tote bag of goodies to go! It was a really cool experience! Be sure to grab them on the Grabbd app! Pictured: Delicious chocolate babka (Jewish bready, twisted, cake), sweet life gives you lemons cake, sugary cinnamon roll, perfect cheese danish, yummy chocolate rugelach (Jewish flakey, rolled pastry), the cute tote bag, palmier (I called them ‘elephant ears’ growing up), sourdough loaf. Everything was so good! Cheesy puns make me gooey on the inside @breadsbakery makes insanely delicious pastries and bread, sweet or savory. For a @grabbdapp collab, they gave me a tour through the bakery, some treats to try in store like fresh iced coffee and the egg and cheese sandwich on a delicious roll, and an entire tote bag of goodies to go (see previous post)!
