"This is a tiny little place we just happened to stumble upon for a Sunday lunch. The whole time we were there, we only saw one older man working there. He was hospitable without being smothering and had a cool elegance about him. The food was incredible. I had a seafood sandwich which I loved and my dining partner had a white fish which he loved. Lovely!"

"My boyfriend and I cannot stop raving about this place. We ordered the surf and turf along with the shrimp pasta, the ceviche, and the Nutella dumplings for dessert. This was our last night in Cartagena and we were looking for a fancy place to eat and stumbled upon Salou. The service was impeccable and our waiter and hostess were passionate about the food and our experience there. Every detail was thought out from the water, to the plating, to the wine glasses. And then the food oh my goodness!! This was the BEST shrimp pasta I've ever had and I love shrimp pasta. The Ceviche was also wonderful and I usually don't enjoy Ceviche. Everything was perfect and it was a wonderful end to our week. Although pricy for Cartagena, we both think these prices could easily have been in dollars instead of pesos because it was literally that good. Highly recommend!!!!"
