"I feel the need to express the disappointment of our experience on Tuesday night at Mason Dixie. I booked 2 groups at M D for a business dinner, both had reservations well in advance and I was assured they were able to accommodate both groups by the owner. One of our groups had a 90 minute wait for food, and when the food arrived it was inedible. Several people reported needing to cut meatloaf with their steak knife. Our other group tried to get up and leave to eat elsewhere but was literally blocked at the door by waitstaff. Two individuals in this group did not receive their food at all, the entire party was done eating when they decided to cancel their orders and leave hungry. With ample time to prepare, running out of items such as pop is unacceptable. I am disappointed in the fact that you assured me that you were able to accommodate 2 large groups and that was not the case. Whether more training or staff is needed, please be realistic with your abilities to accommodate large groups next time someone inquires. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I'll always try to be very fair when rating restaurants. We went to Applebee's yesterday after spending some time at Bass Pro shop next door. They weren't crowded!! We were promptly seated and ordered a short time later. It took 20 minutes to bring out our order, my wife believes it was 30 minutes. I had to ask the waitress to check on our order. Son ordered a hamburger and my wife and I shared a Quesadilla burger. There were severe storms moving in and wanted to be home before they hit. I asked for the check, the waitress show me how to pay using the device on the table. Tried 3 times. Just said try again, server is adding more orders to this table. I had to wave her down, she took the check and manually did it. I had gotten so aggravated that I almost just left when I couldn't pay for the meal. This waitress was so sweet and very stressed as she was the only waitress there, I was understanding about her being alone, but she did all she could humanly do. I did give her a tip. It's sad that companies won't pay people for what they are worth to keep them!!!!"

"Not bad, service was excellent. Food though was a little bland. Each dish we ordered just tasted like it was missing something, like one or two ingredients from hitting a home run. Even the con queso tasted like HEB canned nacho cheese that was garnished for looks."

"I loved everything about this place and food with the exception of two things: the Risotto was not completely boiled and the warm bride had no great taste. By describing the bride, I thought it would have more taste, but it was just bride (which is good by itself.) The French onion soup and the salad were amazing. Our waitress was attentive and welcoming."
