"I am a vegetarian and whilst in Lucca we found this amazing restaurant. My partner who is not vegetarian said he loved it too. The ravioli in a walnut sauce was so good I am going to try and recreate it at home. The pasta with truffles my partner had was excellent too. We found this place on our last night we wish it had been sooner!"

"This small ‘hole in the wall’ restaurant was a great find for a Sunday night meal on our short stay in Lucca. They welcomed and honoured our reservation. The food and wine were excellent and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. The eggs with truffles baked in the oven were. delicious. The tagliatta was one of the best steaks that I have ever had cooked and garnished to perfection. House wine was excellent. The people running the restraint kind, welcoming and helpful with English translations to help out our very poor Italian."

"We would have been looking for fish as it was Friday and there was an excellent offer of cacciucco, which is a wonderful fish soup very filled in the did, but decided instead for the workers midday or festive menu, which includes the first second cure water and wine...for 10 euro offers a veritables bargain. a bread basket comes with its famous pasta fritta including delicious. I chose pasta al forno and a very tasty meat dish with olive in wein and spinat. sweet is optional and paid extra as coffee. when they pass the coffee bar area and some of the prepared dishes can then see them in a large room with a next building where we sat for our meal. we ate with gusto and enjoyed our meal."
