"We went in and sat right away with the option table or stand. Our waitress was there to ask what we wanted to drink as soon as we set ourselves and delivered our coffee and water. She took our order and we were served our breakfast very quickly as we requested. She came back to see if we need anything. Great service. Two cash registers to get out quickly and asked how everything was. Thank you."

"I've enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past, but last night I had what may be the best dessert ever. I don't recall the menu title, but it was chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, wafer, and a hint of mint. Outstanding!"

"Lovely prairie gem. Cocktails/wine menu, had grilled swordfish....over done by a couple of minutes. The salsa on top was just chopped items and should be eliminated. As local purveyor/seasonal ingredients a corn, summer/winter squash/apple item wouldhave been a welcome authentic addition to the sides, or swordfish topping. LOVE, the carrot cake....phenomenal, gorgeous andmouth party. I will return over and over."

"Very friendly staff, eating is also quite good. the prices are not bad. Editing to add: the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was because the fries were a bit smacked as they were cooked in older oils. that means I'm more than happy to come back and revive her!"

"Owners and employees work extremely hard to keep this jewel of a place one of our favorite spots for the weekly open microphone and eating! fantastic. from the chili (best in iowa! to the freshly made desserts (change weekly, and the burger, salate, paninis and specialties, I have consistently found it delicious. the wine and beer selection is huge and they have a full cash. something for everyone."
