"Please dear reader, do not ruin what is surely the best restaurant in Nantes. From the friendliest, most helpful (and multi-lingual) waitress to the maestro in the kitchen, we loved both times we dined here. Producing something for my wife who is vegetarian as well...as catering to her allergies was no problem. My meals were superb. And the creme brulée? I could eat this restaurant's creme brulée and nothing else for the rest of my life. So I urge you to go, but try to keep the secret safe so hoards of hungry tourists don't destroy the ambience and the quality."

"Arrived late and hungry into Nantes after a flight delay and had to find somewhere that would still serve us after 10pm. What a stroke of luck finding La Vespa, the staff were very friendly and welcomed us without any fuss. We were not hurried by anyone into ordering food and our drinks were served straight away. The food itself was very nice, a delicious pizza and a very good steak certainly hit the spot for both of us. Both dishes were more than enough to leave us well satisfied, and the bill was very reasonable. Also a good selection of drinks, again at prices giving value for money. We enjoyed the experience enough to say that we will return here without hesitation on our next trip to Nantes."
