"We moved to New West almost a year ago from North Burnaby. Realized earlier this year that we always drive back to the old neighbourhood for dinners out. Started going out every Thursday evening to different restaurants in New West to get to know our local restaurants. This was our first Japanese restaurant. It was really, really clean was my first impression. Service was immediate for drinks and then again very prompt for dinner orders. I am not a sushi fan so I had prawn tempura and chicken teriyaki don. It was the best chicken teriyaki I have ever had. Juicy, tender and flavoured just right. My husband had nabeyaki udon which was great and tekkamaki . It was also wonderful. He always orders extra wasabi. He didn't need to. Said this was the hottest wasabi he has ever had. Loved it. Families, couples and friends were dining there. Comfortable atmosphere and lovely servers. What more could you want. And very reasonably priced."

"We placed our order, and I said I wanted to keep a menu because I wanted to order more food. our server agreed. they close every day of 3 4 clock, which is good. but when I asked to place my order at 2:36, I was. that's strange because the server knew I wanted to order more food. Why didn't she ask me for a last call and if the sign says that the restaurant closes by 15 o'clock, then the kitchen should still be in the position to eat with 24 minutes to the left. I could understand if it was 5 minutes to close. but why do they come to the table with an order pad and pencil ready to go order and then say apologies, kitchen closed. - Just weird. we finished the station on the way to home at another sushi place to order 80.00 in food."

"This is a quiet and inconceivable restaurant with probably best Mexican food in new westminster. Menu options are diverse and all good value. the tables were turned around quite quickly and I could see a lot of different meals ordered. they all looked good. the service itself is good enough, but the quality of the meal was great compared to price and portion size. I'll come back for the next time when I think about Mexican food for dinner."

"We were staying at a hotel across the way, and stopped here for lunch. The salad was fresh, the rice perfectly cooked, the lamb souvlaki delicious, and the tzatziki simply wonderful. I would not hesitate to eat here again."

"Should have trusted some of those recent bad reviews! Happened to be in the area this evening, saw that the whole place was almost empty at 6.30 pm on a Fri? In its previous life, I couldn 't even get a table for 2 calling one day ahead. Wife and I hesitated for a bit, went thru their menu posted on the outside. Prices are pretty high, but given current circumstances we thought it reasonable, so we decided to give this one a try.Ordered just 2 Pasta dishes. The first was horrible! It is their Calamarata ProFumo Di Mare. Serving was skinny and definitely not worthy of it 's $28 charge. It was bland and bare bone. Supposedly a mixed seafood dish but only got 5 tiny clams, one was empty, one tiny squid, I kid you not!!, and a few scrawny little shrimp and some ring pasta which we could count if we wanted to.2nd main was a tagliatale papalina with some meat. Also portion was tiny but was better tasting, though too dry.Service was ok. However,.when asked for their wifi password (yes, we 're retired seniors and has very limited data plans, hence still old school with shop wifi since their locked network says artusi guess . So when asked, she read out their password which doesn 't work. Showed her and she promised to find out twice, but never did!! Sorry needed this as I was also closely following the results of the USOpen semi-final match. Normally I wouldn 't have checked my mobile at a restaurant.Anyway folks, there you have it. Avoid this restaurant like the plague!I 'm sure in its previous life it must had been really good. Not now!! Ciao..."

"Pizza is good same with the wings. Pasta didn't have much flavor and the chicken in the pasta taste like it's been frozen. Service was meh, they don't check in with you for refills or water."
