"We had the Mezza and the Falafel Fatayer and a couple coffees. The Mezza includes five large, warm pita halves, fresh, delicious hummus with olive oil, a red lentil side and a walnut and olive tapenade, and the Fatayer is a warm pita wrapped around delicious fillings. The falafel with pickles was delicious, and we asked for the tahini (sesame based) sauce rather than the yogurt based sauce. The specials today included a red lentil soup and a Spinach Fatayer. Service was good, and the space was nice. It's counter service with a bit of a cafeteria style. They advertise a gluten-free menu, Friday Dinner, and Saturday buffet. The desserts looked lovely, but I'm not sure whether any were vegan."

"5 stars for drinks and happy hour. One of the best in SF on a Friday. 4 stars for the queso that came with the Giant pretzel. Needed some sort of flavor added, green chilles or jalapeño, tasted like melted monterrey cheese. The mustard was better...which is sad. Could otherwise switch it to a nice beer cheese."
