"Got myself into a calorie overload but what the heck. I got the Juicy Lucy, poutine and salted caramel shake. The bun was very good, so good that it almost overpowered everything else on the burger. So that was my only complaint, while the thing did have a good flavour, it felt almost more like eating a sandwich because the burger patty was small and kind of got lost with the rest of it. The poutine and gravy was very good, the fries had a good crisp. The shake was also very tasty and was sad when it was over but my waistline had had enough anyway. The service was very good but it was late afternoon and pretty quiet. Cool vibe and decor. After tip was like $40…needless to say I was full until the next day!"

"I ordered the spaghetti and stuffed meatballs, and did not really enjoy it (too much spinach, as I'm not a spinach fan). The manager stopped by and asked us how our meal was. When I told him that I wasn't really enjoying it, he insisted on a substitute at no extra charge, even though I explained that there was nothing wrong with the food, it just wasn't to my taste. In less time than I thought possible, he, personally, brought my new meal (a prime rib he had recommended). Delicious! Whilst the Sawmills menu isn't really for a blue collar guy like myself, the service, from Noric the server to the Manager (who's name I didn't get), was absolutely stellar. If you enjoy more refined foods than I do, I couldn't recommend a better place."

"A long time favourite. Pastas are consistently delicious, as well as the Italian loaf. Had a delicious chicken soup recently. All orders are made at the counter, food is then brought to your table (usually this is pretty clear by the long lines at lunch!"

"If you love seafood, you MUST come here for their seafood special. My wife and I have been here 3-4 times in the last 6months. Took my family here for mothers day. The cold and hot platter are both great and must have. The steak is amazing and perfectly cooked each time. The Tuna is also amazing. The side of mushrooms is a must get! (And believe me I normally dislike mushrooms but these ones I always eat when my wife orders them) Service and atmosphere are great, only wish we could take the kids because they would love it. Attached are some photos of the food."

"Very disappointing, my first time and I won't be visiting again. The seafood was horrible, very little choice and way overpriced. It was ice cold and very salty , had I known , I would never have wasted money on the seafood buffet, if you could call it that. I did speak with a manager and was informed I would receive a discount, however the only discount was through my membership.... I was totally disappointed and to be charged $69.99 for one plate of crab was absolutely ridiculous"
