"Pensiune Pipera is located in a northern suburb of Bucharest. It was difficult to find because our navigation software did not find it right, but it is downstairs a small alley on Erou Nita Pintea street a block of Pipera Tunari street. A big red sign marks the alley. Pensiune Pipera is a small friendly restaurant with a varied menu, including salads, fish, veal, pork and chicken. While waiting for delivery, the owner gave us taste of some Romanian drinks and a delicious grilled vegetables. Our meals, grilled pork and spinach chicken, both with fried potatoes, came immediately and were delicious. This restaurant is part of a hotel that is also listed in Trip Advisor, but it is worth it even if you stay somewhere else. I do not charge this restaurant 5 stars, because everything can 't' the best ', but it is very good, and I would certainly like to return for another meal."

"Brasserie/bistro style restaurant. Very attentive English speaking service. Excellent tartare, very good paté. As main we had fried dorada on a light spinach/tomatoe salat. Light and delicious. Open glass of white wine (Grillo from Italy). Great value for money in a good atmosphere."
