"If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Reserved a table for 730pm place empty and chef sitting on chair in corner on his phone. Took several minutes and a few hellos to get anyone’s attention. Order starters and pizza which took rather long . When ordering we checked if pizza had pine nuts. Waitress checked with kitchen and said yes. (Last time they had none so ordered something g different) however when pizza arrived it was covered with chopped peanuts instead which were also raw on a cold pizza. Food unseasoned and chef tried to suggest the pesto contains pine nuts instead. Constantly making excuses. Attitude towards us as customer was really poor. We asked to take our pizza and leave. Both pizzas stuffed in one box piled up. Obviously ripped to fit in box by staff. Then was charged a 15 service charge because we asked for a box ?? For those weary of allergies. This chef is not able to comprehend that there are possibly people coming to your place who may have some knowledge of food and grew up in Italy so understood your mumbled Italian comment"

"Cannot rate this highly enough. Food was superb, the dosa one of the best I’ve eaten, full of flavour, well cooked and beautifully presented. Main meal really good too, chicken spicy and sizzling. Excellent choice of sides. Staff attentive and professional. Very reasonable price."

"Close to caravan site where we were staying, had a bit of a fancy for a local beer, not had one for years...Visited early evening had a pint or so of Swordfish, would recommend, checked out what food was available. And visited the following evening for meal and a pint. The burgers were fantastic, very good portions. Fairly priced. Staff very friendly and hospitable, up for some leg pulling. Enjoyed our evening and will definitely revisit next time we are down that way."

"Lovely welcome and a beautiful lounge to sit in whilst we sipped our aperitifs and perused the excellent menu I had Pigeon Breast and Foie Gras Terrine with sourdough toast. The terrine was delightful ... seasoned perfectly and great flavour. I then had the Cassoulet which was served as a perfect Confit Duck leg on beans in a rich brown and very tasty gravy. There was also excellent bacon and sausage in the Cassoulet. Both these dishes were so good I had to try them again the next night and this was not for want of choice on a very well thought out menu They have some good wines including the Cote Du Rhone Plan de Dieu 2106 which was very well priced and a lovely wine. YOu could see why it had won a Gold Medal at an international fiar for Lady winemakers For dessert I had Sicilian Lemon tart the first night which I thoroughly enjoyed and a cheese board with a varied mix of lovely cheeses This is a special place thank you for such a lovely meal"
