"So you'll be walking along the river and start to pass one of Bordeaux's fancy shopping centres, with high-priced boutiques and restaurants. Then you'll pass this, and there'll be a sign outside saying it's an all-you-can-eat buffet for 17 euros a person. "It's a little on the high-end side", you'll tell yourself, "But it's a fancy area so maybe it's worth the price."Nope. It's a trap. And there's a reason they take payment first - because nobody would ever pay them otherwise. The buffet is extremely limited, and they manage to fail at everything they attempt in an amazingly spectacular way. Everything is either overcooked, undercooked, fatty or bland. They put meat in everything, so if you're vegetarian, expect dry chow-mein and bad salad. Even the deserts, which are clearly shop bought, are terrible. The cake was stale and the ice cream was freezer burned.Don't do it. You'll get a better meal at the nearby Subway for a fraction of the price."

"Lunch menu at 10 euros was good value: the chicken vermicelli soup was delicious. The nems were salty and clearly not prepared on site (think Picard . Chicken curry was was excellent however the rest was quite poor: tepid pork; undercooked chicken brochette (pink does not come close, it was raw ; chicken with vegetables was dry and salty. Rice okay, chips excellent (why would this be a highlight? . House wine vile. Avoid. Disagree with comments about toilets: they were clean. Service slow but very friendly. Cheap."
