"First time I went here I got the ginger beef and it was so good. Sauce is great and the beef was tender. Rice was also fluffy and not dry. Next visit I had the pho, and although it's not the best I've ever had it was still the best I've had in the Okanagan.I now frequent this place ad it's comfortable and close to home."

"Our group had the Shoyu Wonton Ramen and Yakisoba (with tofu). The warm broth of the ramen was perfect on a cold morning and each order had 5 wonton. There was a generous portion of ramen with a variety of boiled vegetables. Service was prompt and there was parking out front. Seems to be a busy place! The interior was clean with some dividers still between the tables. Would return for their reasonable prices and selection of Asian dishes!"

"Very good food for the value. Big portions. The Won ton soup was tasty and the Chow Mein was plentiful with chicken and vegetables. Highly recommend!"

"Normally when I see a restaurant trying to serve two different cuisines, it is an immediate red flag. However, I am surprised that everything is done relatively well here! The two cuisines I am referring to is Vietnamese, and they also somehow put sushi on the menu. Pho: Executed competently, broth is actually a rich deep broth, and doesn't feel watery at all. My only quip is that the size for a large is smaller than Vancouver portions Vermicelli bowl: Executed well, but they had limited options for protein options. I wish they had pork skin in one of the bowls! House roll: Rice isn't over seasoned compared to a lot of other sushi restaurants – may come off as bland as a result, but it allows the rice to shine through instead. So YMMV depending on what you are used to."

"I order takeout from this specific Bamboo Chopsticks location all the time and have truly never been disappointed. I went in today to dine-in for my first time and was so happy with the experience, that I felt it was time to leave a review. The several staff who served us were all so friendly, courteous and happy. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The food is always top notch; healthy and affordable too! I usually get one of the variety of the vermicelli bowls, always loved and recommend the beef BBQ one, however it is not gluten free, so i stick to the Spring Roll bowl which is so fantastic! Most of this restaurant’s menu caters to Gluten Free diets, which really keeps me coming back. Dining in today, I tried a Lemongrass beef bowl (GF) which is often recommended to me and it was great, especially if you like a little spice. Make sure to try their Spring Rolls as I think they may be the best in town!"

"I have a theory that the more “hole in the wall” or “mom and pop” looking the restaurant the better the food. Royal Punjab is a hidden gem, don’t miss out. Got the butter chicken, coconut rice and garlic naan some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend."

"I ordered Lemongrass Bowl and Crispy Spring Rolls. Lemongra's bowl was well portioned, it looked tempting, but at the end it was quite dry, it was so dry that at one point, it was no longer edible for me. It's badly missing some sauce or something gravy for the noodles. It's not easy to have simple noodles. Spring rolls were good, but not as good as I ordered for the second time. They found them quite oily and they do not live on their name, they are not crispy at all, but the filling is good. The sauce also serves along taste like sugar water."
