"I haven't been here before, but I like to try new places. I usually order Diet Pepsi as my drink of choice, but the waitress was nice enough to recommend I order another type of drink, as there is something wrong with the Diet Pepsi. That was nice to warn me, so I'll mark it as a plus. My friends ordered some battered mushrooms to start. The dill dip that came with it was a really nice complement to the mushrooms. I ordered the loaded burger with fries. I asked for grilled onions, and I was really happy with my choice. The burger was delicious, albeit not being over the top special. Exactly how I like them. The fries on the other hand felt like they stood under a heat lamp for a bit. I still ate them, as they were ok. I tried a spring roll with sweet chili Thai sauce. It was very good. Overall, it was a great experience."

"I checked the menu online which was quite helpful because it specified which dishes were spicy and also had photos of some of the dishes.I phoned for takeout at 3:30 in the afternoon and was told it would take 10 to 15 minutes. A friendly young man was busy cleaning when I arrived 15 minutes later.I ordered Combo Dinner C ($12.50), hoping there would be enough for two meals for myself. Combo C consisted of a spring roll (with a spicy dipping sauce), five chicken balls (with sweet and sour sauce); ginger beef; mixed vegetables with chicken; and chicken fried rice. When I unpacked it at home I was surprised at the size of this order. The three compartment takeout container was packed and the chicken balls and spring roll were in a separate container. There was an abundance of ginger beef, and the large partition was full to the top with fried rice. You could see the pieces of chicken mixed with the vegetables (looked exactly like the online photo) .Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Plenty was left over for me to enjoy another great meal. It was just as tasty when reheated the next day. The small restaurant is not a fancy place for dining, but looked very clean. Tables could be arranged to accommodate larger groups. I recommend Thai Basil based on my takeout experience."

"Food comes out fast. Place is dirty, needs a really good cleaning. Our table was sticky so was the floor. And does the owner we assume do anything but stand at the till and stare at customers…little unnerving we thought."

"I wish I have choice for more than 5 star. I love noodle soup and travel from Winnipeg to Vancouver Island to be honest this is the best one so far. The soup testes so delicious and clearly made from fresh bone broth and not like others feel thirsty after due to additives and MSG etc.Two thumbs up keep up the great work."

"Food for Price ? It’s OK.If you haven’t had Thai food in awhile and just feels for it, then I visit these guys. However, I won’t go out of my way due to how many other options are out there within the same price range and better tasting food and CUSTOMER SERVICE."
