"I have been going to the Jardin Imperial for over 12 years, it’s the same family who have owned it from the beginning and they are undoubtedly the most successful restaurant in Marine de Cogolin. The food has always been good in the past. This was the first time we had been this year and we noticed differences even when we walked in. The staffs children running all over the place like it was a play ground rather than a restaurant was very noticeable. We also noticed that a lot of the long time staff had gone. The place was full as normal, but it seems the waiting staff were having trouble keeping up with everything. The service was slow and chaotic; one waitress tripped over a deposited a full dish of food onto a customer, not good! Our appetizers arrived and the Nems were so over fried they were nearly black. Normally we would have sent them back, but because they took a while to get and we were having a family reunion dinner we didn’t. The main courses arrived and half were just ok, but my wife’s whole sea bass was inedible. It was if they took a frozen small whole sea bass and chucked it into the fryer, forgot about it for while then served it. It was like a fish bone with a bit of incinerated mush attached to it! We tried to send it back but couldn’t get anyone’s attention so in the end my wife isn’t have a main course. Generally not good anymore, maybe they had the “end of season blues”? If they continue like this, they will end up like most of the other Marine de Cogolin restaurants, empty!"

"Food is very good and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Spring rolls to vegetables are to fall on the ground. I really wish there were more vegan options tofu salt and pepper tofu would be very appreciated!
