"My wife and I went to Mama Chow, which has been open for a few weeks. We went for dinner at about 8:30pm without a reservation and were seated outside on a very pleasant evening. The interior is nicely appointed, by the way. The food was excellent with a nice wine list. We shared vegetable spring rolls and then had two main courses (shared), salt pepper shrimp and green curry chicken. All three dishes were excellently prepared with fresh ingredients. The recipes had some unique elements (onions with the shrimp) which added to the experience. This is a very good kitchen. The service was fine, courteous and professional, and our server spoke English which was helpful as our French is not so good yet. We had a nice bottle of St. Veran Chardonnay for a good price as well. We did not opt for dessert. The prices are on the expensive side, but the overall experience was very satisfying. We will return."
