"I've been a regular at Dragon Rolls in Pickering, often enjoying their all-you-can-eat dine-in. However, my recent visit for takeout on August 8, 2023, revealed a few areas that could use enhancement.When my son and I walked into the restaurant, it was relatively quiet – a promising sign for a swift takeout experience. We placed an order for Chicken Fried Rice, four orders of Beef Teriyaki Rolls, and two orders of Cheese Wontons. The staff courteously informed us that the wait time would be around 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, our excitement dwindled as we patiently waited for our order, only to receive it after a prolonged 45-minute wait. The extended wait time was a tad disappointing, and a more accurate estimate would have better managed our expectations.One aspect that caught my attention during this visit was the state of the restroom. While the overall restaurant was tidy, the restroom seemed to lack the same attention to detail. I noticed toilet paper scattered on the floor, which indicated a need for more consistent maintenance and cleanliness in this area. Also the flush lever on the toilet was hanging but I was still able to operate it. This should be fixed.When we finally indulged in our meal at home, the flavors were as scrumptious as ever. The Chicken Fried Rice was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, and the Beef Teriyaki Rolls were bursting with savory goodness. The Cheese Wontons were crispy and satisfying. Unfortunately, we were not told of the complementary Spicy Crab Rolls – a dish that clashed with our preferences for both seafood and spice. It would be a great improvement if the staff confirmed such additions with customers before including them, avoiding any food wastage and ensuring a tailored experience. While our order included an unwanted surprise, the overall flavors of the dishes reminded us why we keep coming back. Here's to hoping Dragon Rolls takes these suggestions to heart, providing an even more remarkable dining experience in the future."

"Ordered the roast beef dinner for takeout, when I opened it, this was the sad meal I received. Was really looking forward to it, but was very disappointed with the meal. Two bites of veggies, a couple small pieces of the beef that was smothered in gravy and a tiny scoop of mash potatoes. No horseradish or even butter for my bun. Probably won't be ordering from this location anymore."

"Not worth my money. I had gotten the house special taste wise was okay. Halfway during my meal I found a piece of hair in the tendon. They replaced my meal (which I appreciate), but I couldn’t finish it since I was full from the original bowl I wanted to bring home the left overs. I go up and pay but come back to my table with the food that I paid for thrown out. That’s what upset me the most. What a waste of food and makes me question why I paid"

"Wow I am really shocked that anyone could say ANYTHING bad about these guys?? As you can see their ratings are mostly 5 stars with a couple of 1's. So I think the problem may have been the customers or a misunderstanding. No I'm not related to Jackie or Ahn. (Apologies if the names are spelt incorrectly) I've been a customer since they 1st opened and I know their names because they took the time to learn their customers AND remember them! I've seen their menu changes in the beginning as they tried to work out what was most liked and wanted. Some of the dishes initially that they tried were ok but now their menu is delicious and I've tried almost all of it! Highly recommend the Samosas, the spicy beef noodle soup, laksa and pho. They even had a Chicken Jerk at one point that was to die for! They have great food but the service is the best. I'm a regular at that shopping center and I hear them use many customers names. They've gone out of their way to make customers happy, they've made me dishes just before closing more than once and apologized profusely the few times they were out of something. I remember Ahn even going to Coles to pick up an ingredient they'd run out of for a dish I love despite me saying it was fine I'd pick something else. Now if that isn't stand out service and evidence of caring about customers I don't know what is! We are moving soon and I'll miss their food but I'll miss their smiles most. I wish them great success. They work damn hard for it!"

"Great Thai restrauant in Pickering. I say one of the best! Very reasonable and great size portions. Their Grilled chicken salad is delicious to start with and cashew nut chicken in my fav also the mango chicken. Great lunch deals too! Thier Thai ice coffee is a nice treat for dessert!"
