"The variety of kitchen in san miguel de allende is amazing. ok. noodle bar is not an exception. great atmosphere, attentive staff and. exceptional eating! potsticker starters were cooked on...flavorful and perfectly. my wife had the ramen bowl with many sweet and roasted pork. wonderful broth! I had garnel pad thai, that was something of the best I ever had! the best part was the price. a common appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 cocktails and 2 beers. all for $37 us including drinking money. a real bargain!"

"We went to Hidalgo 50 twice while staying in San Miguel for a week and this was our favorite restaurant of all. The food is beautifully cooked and excellent value. We had fish and shrimp dishes and they were excellent. Prices are very reasonable, service...is excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant. Most of the patrons appeared to be local Mexicans and staff mostly speak Spanish, but several staff members spoke English well. This added to the charm of the experience!"

"I eat here regularly. Every dish is top-notch, the staff is warm and friendly, and Dila himself is always around, open, engaging, providing great attention to detail. He really cares about the entire customer experience. It 's very hard to find authentic tasting Asian food outside...of the region, in part because the full range of spices is broad and not always easily accessible, the blending of them a complex art that requires a sophisticated understanding (and lots of experience to get it right . I 've spent a lot of time in Asia and I miss the food when I 'm away; Dila 's provides that genuine taste of home right here in San Miguel :"

"I tried this restaurant today for lunch and another Thai restaurant in SMA for dinner, and I’ve concluded that Thai Kitchen is the clear winner. The crispy spring rolls with a tangy sweet sauce were delicious, featuring a true Thai flavor. I also enjoyed the...larb kai salad, minced chicken cooked with mint and other spices and served with cucumber slices. Very good, although the chicken was served warm instead of chilled as I’m used to. The Thai iced tea was not so great; I think next time I’ll order a hot jasmine tea. And there will be a next time, oh yes! Thai Kitchen is located within easy walking distance of the Hotel Real de Minas."

"We spent New Year's Eve with family and friends in this intimate tapas restaurant. At first I thought it was too small a crowd to be exciting but I was proven wrong. The Mexican guitarist/singer was so much fun and entertaining. They had hats and masks for everyone.I am not sure what the set menu was for the evening but and endless array of wonderful small plates kept arriving. Each course surpassed the one before. A huge effort was made by the restaurant staff to make the evening special. I am sorry to say I only have goofy New Year's Eve photo's and none of the food. An open bar may explain my lack of memory for the details of the food. However I do know it was quite good.We felt a little bad as we wanted to be in El Jardin for the midnight fireworks but they gave us champagne just before we left. I look forward to returning on a normal evening and will describe the food in more detail!"
