"I do not normally feel compelled to write a restaurant review, but WOW, what a fantastic little hidden gem tucked away off the Market Square in Chippenham! Fabulous food and owners, who are very friendly. We visited recently during the Christmas and New Year period...and had the entire restaurant to ourselves! If my husband was writing this review he would be raving about the ribs... he said he'll be back for the ribs starter, followed by the ribs main, as he loved it so much. We also shared the duck spring rolls, which were delicious and beautifully presented. For our mains we shared the vegetable rice, which was very tasty. The vegetables were so fresh and plentiful, and would have been a lovely dish on its own. However, we had accompanying curries to go with the rice. After our meaty starters, I went for the tofu green curry, which also did not disappoint. It was a big portion after our starters, so the staff were more than happy to put the remainder into a takeaway box to enjoy the next day. For afters we shared a banana fritter with ice cream, which was a delicious way to end a perfect meal. We enjoyed the Thai ice tea to go with our meal, which like everything else... was delicious! The people of Chippenham are very lucky to have this restaurant... we will be back in 2022!"

"Contacted the Chinese about the food, as it was tastless!! I asked to return the food for a refund and they refused. Not only refused, but he was rude and patronising. Do not go here if you want a nice meal!!"

"We have been here before and I think last time we chose unwisely from the menu. This time we stuck to Thai dishes and were very happy we did. We sat down and were instantly offered thai prawn crackers with a dip – it was...a big basketful and we munched through these whilst perusing the menu. We had a couple of starters – satay and salt and pepper squid. Both were a good-sized portion and very tasty. For our mains we had king prawn pad thai (always a favourite), a green chicken curry and sweet chilli fish. The fish was deep fried in batter and beautifully cooked – no tiny bites here it was in large pieces so the fish was perfection. The prawns in the pad thai were plentiful and it was very tasty and the curry was very mild and jam packed with chicken. All in all a lovely meal and we certainly will return. Service is exceptional and the atmosphere buzzy even on a week night."

"I'm afraid I didn't enjoy my meal. We had. Crispy duck (quite nice). Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style (fair to middling) chips (not a fan of Chinese chips but my son wanted them and rice i know who has rice and chips Chicken fried rice and egg fried rice (tepid at best) sweet and sour chicken balls (tasted of old oil) and a curry my son wanted too the bit I enjoyed most.... The prawn crackers. £62 Unlikely I'll return. Hopefully if you try the imperial you'll get better offerings."

"Last night my wife and I went out for a meal here along with my dad and my brother. We've ordered delivery from them before so we knew the food was exceptionally good and that there were plenty of Vegan options. We were instantly met by very friendly and attentive staff, noticing the real family atmosphere of a locally run business. Raj the owner was particularly charming along with his beautiful wife. We had poppadoms to start accompanied by some beers although just a water for me. This moved on to some delicious homemade vegetable spring rolls accompanied by a delicious selection of dips. My favourite being the tomato jam looking one. With 2 vegans a veggie and one carnivore our order became: King Prawns, Mushroom Bahjee, Sag Aloo and the most exquisite Nepalese daal. The couple of non vegans shared a cheese naan and we also ordered rice and some chips to go along with the meal. All four of us were blown away by the service and atmosphere and it wasn't long before we were sitting back in our chairs bellies very full. I highly recommend this Kathmandu Kitchen and we will most certainly be returning again. Thank you Raj and your wonderful family too!"
