"Ordered food at 6pm, was told to pick up at 7:15. No problem. Came in to pick up, there were at least another 6/7 unhappy people waiting. Signs didn’t look good from there on. In the end I waited in restaurant a whole hour before the food came out. Was beyond a joke. To make matters worse, they took payment as soon as I got in and then made me wait 1 hour for food that was supposed to have been already sorted to pick up. Staff completely ignored this fact, no offer was made to anyone in regards to money off, even a free drink whilst waiting etc. Think they were very lucky that most of us were just laughing about it. I understand it is difficult in current circumstances but to wait 1 hour for food from the pick up time is a disgrace. They were obviously more interested in taking as many orders as they can which they couldn’t feasibly manage. The food in the end was good, however some parts were slightly cold. All in all we will not be doing this again."

"We were staying at a local campsite and chose The Great Season from the reviews on here and the locality. So glad we picked it! The food was amazing. We had chow meins, mixed starters and salt and chilli chips. All were delicious. We would...definitely go again and recommend it to others."

"We’ve just had a family meal 20 of us for a surprise birthday The service was a little slow Lisa and George couldn’t have worked any harder as there was 2 big parties in, the food was well worth the wait, it took longer than expected but because of that made our night more special as we all were able to catch up , the talking never stopped and the empty plates showed how much we all enjoyed the food As the takeaway is always busy it does sometimes impact in the restaurant but the food is always freshly cooked, always hot and always worth the wait Thank you for a good night"

"Last couple of visits I’ve given 3 stars, much better this time round. Salt pepper ribs, good size portion plenty of meat on the ribs, seasoning spot on. Crispy chilli steak fried rice, excellent. Glad to see it’s improved as we do struggle to find a good Chinese in Garstang, on the back of this visit, we will be back!"
