"Great place, food and people. Dishes are traditional and that of the local community. (The Kicker breakfast sandwich, Curry Goat lunch special, Pizza are all I have on this one day that I was doing business nearby and they were all great). One dish after another keep impressing me causing me to come back again and again and I am sure to come back another day again."

"The vegetable sushi platter was delicious! The sweet radish in the remix roll made it really good. I personally did not like the sweet radish as a vegetable roll (just the sweet radish on a nugget of white sushi rice wrapped in seaweed) and thought it was too sweet and overpowering on its own. The other vegetable rolls (one had avocado and the other had cucumber) were very good, especially dipped in some soy sauce. There was no meat/fish in the vegetable sushi platter and therefore it is a vegetarian option. I would eat here again. The side salad and side soup that come with the vegetable sushi platter were also good, the salad was better than the soup in my opinion. My family and I ordered quite a lot of food from here through delivery and it all came packaged so nicely in a reused cardboard box...from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!! I love to see small sustainable acts such as that even though it is so small. I applaud the thought to even do that and that definitely makes me want to support this business more If you are a vegetarian, you can still enjoy their food with the vegetable sushi platter and even if you are not a veg or vegan, if you try it out you might really like this simple yet super tasty platter!"

"The pad Thai was not great it wasn't very flavorful and there were very few sprouts. All the noodles were clumped together as well. The duck, which was an additional $8, was terrible. It was extremely dry, overcooked and had no flavor. Very disappointing. I will give the noodles a break here considering this was a mobile order and maybe they clumped together due to travel time however, that excuse doesn't cut it for flavor or for the poorly cooked duck. I realize duck pad Thai is an odd combination but I was planning to just remove and eat as a separate side dish. The duck was too scary to eat or enjoy."

"Wakamatsu is a place that reminds me of my mother who loves sushi. Through all the years of my life and hers in Queens, Wakamatsu was the place she always went to for tasty sushi.The inside is cozy and the screens that separate the tables provides a nice amount of privacy. Our table was always the nearest one to the window.I explored much of her taste in sushi, only to develop my own, more pickier than hers. As of now, I usually order the tempura shrimp roll. I'll also get a miso soup and my favorite drink, a peach tea snapple. Sometimes I try to be adventurous, however I think I'll always be defined by my picky tastes in life.We know there seemed to be a change in management around 4 years ago or so. The woman we were used to seeing behind the table no longer was there as she was previously. However we're glad the wonderful food never changed once. We hope she's doing well."
