"I finally got around to trying this place out and we were pretty much happy with what we ate. The Bangkok fried rice, seafood red curry, grilled pork neck and phad Thai noodles were all quite good and relatively inexpensive. The negatives - serving size of the delicious seafood curry was disappointingly small, and the fish fillet in mango sauce was nothing great. I'd definitely eat here again."

"The nachos were generous in serving. The melty cheese, chopped tomatoes, and beef cuts combined, chef’s kiss‍ . So good. I loved how they didn't use shredded meat. Most nachos that use shredded meat are a hit or miss for me; usually a miss when the meat isn't seasoned well leading to umay : Silantro used small cubed beef. Small but juicy and tender! Sorry there's no pic, we devoured it instantly before I could take a decent pic for my blog As for the tacos, we ordered the double meat of chicken and beef. Juicy and tender din Was so good I gobbled it in seconds. They had lamb as a meat option but unfortunately it was unavailable that time and yesterday, even if we went there earlier than last time . I think it’s best if you go early like lunchtime or call in to check if they have it available that day. But above the two things we ordered, the commendable stars were the white and green sauces. The white sauce was garlic. I inherently like garlic so it's an automatic like for me. I’m not sure what the green sauce was; I thought it was like a guac in liquid form, but it tastes like cucumber. Great nonetheless since it balances out the savoriness of everything else. The darker green was just the spicy version. Out of all the restos in Kapitolyo, Silantro definitely stands out— with the line of cars it's hard to miss. Overall, the socmed postings were worth the hype in trying!"

"Note: Late Review<br> <br> Going to Mega is slowly becoming a habit.&nbsp; The reason for my visit is to try Halal Guys. I got discouraged because of the long lines.&nbsp; Next on my list is Ooma,&nbsp; to my surprise,&nbsp; there are 8 people waiting to get a table.&nbsp; My weary feet brought me to Tuan Tuan.<br> <br> As per the world wide web,&nbsp; Tuan Tuan stands for "to put together".&nbsp; Oh,&nbsp; the wonders of language. <br> <br> I decided to order takeaway,&nbsp; i wanted to have a first hand account of how their pork buns taste like and compare it with Tim Ho Wan. <br> <br> They call it Pork Snow Buns.&nbsp; If we are gonna use the name alone,&nbsp; Tuan takes a point,&nbsp; the name is catchy,&nbsp; almost magical.&nbsp; Magical for those who has an active imagination and who digs figures of speech. <br> <br> The price.&nbsp; It costs less than the competition.&nbsp; Another point there.&nbsp; I paid php 128 for a box of three.<br> <br> The taste.&nbsp; What i noticed is the milky taste of the pastry (apart from the white color).&nbsp; As for the filling,&nbsp; i cant differentiate it from its rival.&nbsp; I think the taste is similar.&nbsp; Same with the size of ze buns. <br> <br> And oh,&nbsp; you dont have to endure long lines unlike the rival.&nbsp; That's a good thing,&nbsp; no health risks involved."

"Going Japanese on a budget!<br> <br> If you are craving for the common Japanese fare but don't have much moolah, Tok-yu is for you. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant within the Pioneer Center compound truly surprised me.&nbsp;<br> Food: I tasted their Seafood Ramen and it reaaaally hit the spot: it's got a little bit of everything: crab, fish, squid, clam. I've also had the ebi tempura, California maki, super mix salmon, and beef misono on my past visits -- they were good. Not WOW GOOD, just OKAY GOOD. They're not bad at all; I've definitely had better, but at those prices, I ain't complaining one bit! Prices are so low, that one time, there were 5 of us, and the bill was less than P1000.<br> <br> Ambiance: an air-conditioned eatery. Don't expect much. Nothing fancy about it at all.&nbsp;<br> <br> Service: On my first visit, I was there at 2:30PM. It was after the lunch hour, and way too early for the dinner rush. They were very attentive. My succeeding visits were a different story: it was always... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"Wonder why the reviews were low on here but decided to give it a try (possibly due to the lack of servers? Luckily the hotel wasn't overcrowded). We ate here on a Saturday lunchtime. Not that many people but there was only one server. We ordered the steak and fries, truffle mushroom noodles, 3 pieces of southern fried chicken with a creamy chicken sauce. The steak and fries were good, although I find the steak a little tough. The truffle mushroom noodles were the bomb. It was very creamy, you can taste the truffle. The chicken was delicious and had that citrus flavor that was good. Place was nice too!"

"The Red Crab’s menu is all about seafood but there’s quite a bit of variety. We had Crispy Chicaron Bulaklak (PhP 245) and Baby Squid Sisig (PhP 195) for starters. The lovely crackle on the fried pork intestines made the crunchy chicharon bulaklak an amicable affair. We could not ask more from that golden brown crispy skin.<br> <br> Sautéed with liver, the baby squid sisig was just average and didn’t leave a good impression. The fact that I deserted the dish after the second mouthful was a clear testament. Perhaps removing the liver and putting in more onions and seasonings will make it more pleasant-tasting.<br> <br> Crab Adobo (PhP 195/100g) is one of the best signature dishes at The Red Crab. Comprising a blend of various salts and spices, the fresh crab’s meat tasted naturally sweet with fried garlic and aligue. Roe lovers may expect to rejoice as there’s more than enough to share. The sweet sauce that coated the crabs was also particularly addictive as it went well with plain rice, making a filling meal. How did I know it was fresh? The whole pincer was packed with solid meat—not the loose kind that falls apart easily.<br> <br> Lapu-Lapu with Sweet and Sour Sauce (PhP 185/100g) reminded me fondly of my mom’s cooking as this was one of her star dishes that would make me cancel my dinner plans to head home for a homecooked meal. The tasty sauce dressed the fish equally and the fish was deep-fried for a succulent yet crispy bite.<br> <br> Lapu-Lapu with Chili Mango Sauce (PhP 185/100g) was as well a stunner. Mango sauce was tad weird for my liking though, so while the subtle sweetness of it did the lapu-lapu recipe justice, I have my preference with the more conventional technique.<br> <br> To compensate for our “seafood quota” on that meal, we had two plates of Sigarilyas Express (PhP 245) which was served with thinly sliced winged beans and kangkong stalks. Cooked in coconut milk and chili with crisp-fried pork belly, this vegetable entrée had the right level of spiciness and a slightly sweet tinge to it. It was fine but not really a “wow” kind of dish. I’ve had better.<br> <br> Lastly, the Manila Pork Ribs (PhP 325) came with a rich glaze of sweet pineapple-infused barbecue sauce and a texture that’s tender yet meaty. Earning compliments for its “well rendered fat,” the pork ribs tasted robust without being overzealous. It did not have a fall-of-the-bone softness; rather, the meat was released with just a gentle tug of the teeth, not a pain to eat. <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rochkirstin.com&amp;r=26069281&amp;to=886317&amp;k=b33c474ccc3712a62ee882780b30e3d6" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">rochkirstin.com</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"I've been a fan of Samurai's takoyaki since I was a kid. It's just a bit disappointing that over the years, the seafood stuffing of their Takoyaki has lessen. The taste is the same as I remember it, so that still works for me Food: Honestly, it's all that I order from Samurai. I usually consume 2 orders and eat it there and buy 2 or 3 more for take out. I'm just so addicted to it Service: It's always fast as the takoyakis are always ready Place: it's a small kiosk at the supermarket, so they don't have seats, but they have small tables where you can just stand and eat."

"Its a Ramen Weather last Friday. I was surpised to see Ramen sets. These are served on a limited time, from 2PM til 6PM. <br> <br> I tried the Butao Gyoza for P380. It is served with Ramen Nagi Chips, Potato Salad (wow! With wasabi after taste ♥️),Bean Sprouts and of course the yummy, Gyoza. Ramen is smaller in size, and I can tell quality of meat is different from the regular priced ramen.. its like ham???? but the soup is consistent, still rich and flavorful. <br> <br> Verdict: Ramen is still good! Though I sort of miss the chasu quality that I nirmally have. Bit for the price, its Sulit ???????? by the way, i am still amaze with the interiors, its bold, red and you get the Japan ambiance♥️"
