"We had a great time here with family celebrating our birthdays. It was July 4th so it was definitely crowded but so worth it!! We got the steamer pot, unlimited ribs shrimp and the clam chowder. I would say go for the unlimited crab legs as they tasted much better than the full crab (we didn’t even eat them). The service is slow since they’re insanely busy but we had an amazing time regardless."

"We had an amazing experience at Higgins today. We are here on vacation and we're looking for a good place for all you can eat crab and it was great. the service was amazing and our waiter Eric was the best waiter that we have EVER had. He helped us with everything we needed, made us laugh, and really made the whole experience even better. He was just such a genuine person and recommended the fried chicken for my fiancé that wasn't really feeling crab tonight. You would probably expect the chicken at a Seafood restaurant to be sub-par but it was the BEST fried chicken we have ever had. The place was super welcoming and family friendly. Very clean and well kept. again, amazing service and great food!"

"Wonderful food. Everything was well timed and delicious. The spinach and artichoke dish, salads, steak and lobster. We were too full for dessert but have been there many times and will continue to be there for many more meals."

"Bobby Van’s is an extremely popular lunch and dinner destination for the downtown crowd – lots of lawyers and corporate folk (me included! It is pricey but worth it for an excellent meal. It is also quite loud in the restaurant, so do not expect a quiet dining experience! It is lively and active, so it is a fun place to go. Reservations are almost required – they are usually packed and the line can be out the door during lunch. The food is delicious, but a word of warning during the lunch rush – service is slow and the 10+ times I’ve been there, the waiter has forgotten to put in my meal, causing me to wait (it was, however, deducted off the bill . I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail, the vegetable spring roll (only for lunch , the Harry’s Salad (chopped vegetables and the Halibut. For dinner, the Sesame Crusted Tuna is my favorite dish on the menu, and the Blackened Tilapia is quite good as well. As a vegetarian, I can’t comment on the steaks – but they are extremely well-known in Washington for their cuts and I have never heard a negative word about their meat. The desserts are phenomenal – be sure to safe room! The cheesecake is fabulous, as is the flour-less chocolate torte (although it is rather rich . There are better downtown options, but you can’t go wrong with Bobby Van’s."
