"This is an evaluation of the new philly grill next to schnucks on the north side on rt 41. As Philly transplants we have long been skeptical about everything that Philly-this or Philly-that should be outside the Philadelphia area. we approached today's dinner there with low expectations and only a very thin beam of hope. the lower line is this: the steak sandwiches are small to philly standards, but they are the real deal including the amoroso’s roll (the only legitimate roll for a philly steak or cheese steak sandwich). the taste is right. we had of course the sandwich with sweet paprika and raw chopped wobble (standard). also we added cheese (provolone), the only acceptable alternative to the original cheese whiz. their sandwiches come in 6' or 9' sizes. twelve customs is in philly standard, but for those of us trying to observe our portion sizes, the six customs size is quite sufficient. while double meat is an option, it is not necessary. I give them 90% (a) on the steak sandwich. to compare gets subway a f-. we also tried a 6' hoagie. they deserved a b' on the hoagie for better than subway', but still short of what you get to home. No matter, it's still just about sharing the best hoagie in these and also comes on an amoroso roll. I would offer them a little for selling nathans hotdogs (a NYC contract, no Philly contract) and for not offering tastykake crimpets or real philly soft brezels, but these are smaller refinements that they can make easy. Oh, they also offered to grill hoagie. That's a Philly-No!"

"Had a small gathering for a birthday party, Josh our waiter was fantastic. Everything was correct, brought out quickly, and he even joined in on the fun with the family. We all had a great time, I definitely prefer this location over the one on Main now."

"I expected a basic themed restaurant but the biscuits and gravy were worth the stop. Gravy was light but not doughy. The grilled sausage patties had a light texture and pleasant seasoning. Much better than the typical breakfast I've actually had back in Chicago."

"In my worldly travels, I ran across this little place, a bit off the beaten path from the interstate, however, these are usually the best finds. So I gave them a whirl. Place was clean with ample parking, has 2 entrances at the front, leftside is the restaurant and the roughshod is the bar/tavern. This place serves alcohol, but was a neat rustic atmosphere on the inside, very cool. Old timey tin on the ceiling in the restaurant side, board and batten walls very neat. I wanted a Bison burger, but was informed they were out and on backorder, so I got a cheeseburger with with everything on it and onion rings. The meat was hand patted and not frozen, over a 1/2 thick upon arrival to my table and had the best flame broiled/ grilled flavor of any hamburger I 've ever eaten. Juicy, this burger was GREAT!! The onion rings were nothing Steller, shame they weren 't like homemade beer battered ones or something. Sweet tea was good, not super dark and light to medium color and was not super flavorful of tea flavor. Service was very good. All in all, this place is worthy of driving out of the way if coming off of the interstate, such as myself and having some of the local cuisine."

"Just a little bit overpriced on a lot of stuff but in all this steak sandwich I had was was damn good actual good steak good meat it was awesome but due to this pandemic I can understand how prices are thank you very much for serving my family today as we had a funeral that we put one of our own young man of drugs took his life thank you very much again for serving my family have a great day and God bless"

"This fine decor is known for its extensive salad bar, complete with the usual fare, as well as fresh fruit, fresh bread, cheese block, apple butter and a variety of dressing options. They offer a variety of soups that are turned and pair nice with the salad bar for a light lunch. They also offer a modest selection of steaks, chickens and more. We've never been disappointed with the food we receive."
