"I love this place and have been a loyal customer for a great many years. They have delicious fresh kosher meats (and will cut them to order if you like , and also freezers stocked with lots of home-made kosher delights such as great soups (including many varieties of chicken soup, of which my favorite is chicken gumbo, as well as lentil soup, split pea soup, etc. , sauces (meat sauce for spaghetti, sloppy joe sauce, etc. , chicken fingers, turkey portions, hamburger patties, etc. , and a small deli counter supplied with delicious home-made delights like corned beef and pastrami (sliced to order , chopped liver, cole slaw, potato salad, hot dogs and salamis, etc. Everything is so tasty! The people there are helpful and friendly. Try it, you 'll like it."

"My wife and I had an unpleasant event at the Players Restaurant last night that his customers should know. My wife has been restricted to a wheel chair in the last 7 weeks due to a fracture and an operation at the ankle. That was embarrassing for her and as a result she had not left our home for a dinner or any social events. On Thursday night, her sister and I talked to her for dinner, but our time was limited because I had a meeting at 7:30. We live about a mile of players. After we drove halfway, I called the restaurant and asked if they could have a party of 3, including a lady in a wheel chair, and that we would be there in 2 minutes, and was told there was no problem. When we arrived 2 minutes later, the owner told us that there is no table, and that as my wife sat in a wheel chair, no problem with us would wait for a table. I told him I called two minutes ago and said there was a table for us, and since I had a meeting, we would go. He shouted to us “then turns around – see the door – go and never come back, get the f ___(4 letters expletive) from here”. I told him there was no reason to raise his voice. That made him scream louder and he said, "Go on yourself! Everyone in the restaurant has to hear him screaming and the people we saw on our way looked amazed and shocked. My wife and sister trembled and embarrassed. I was angry, but polite. We didn't provoke this outbreak. It wasn't known. And I think the people of our community should know about it when they think about going to players."
