"This cafe 's in a terrific location and should be doing really well. Unfortunately, our experience wasn 't great. Firstly. the ordering process was a mess. We placed our order at the counter (there were four of us dining . The guy entered it all into the machine....About 5 minutes later, he came to our table apologetically saying the order had gone astray. We were fine with this as these things happen. My wife wrote the order onto his pad for him and handed it back to him. He was grateful and disappeared. After another around 15 minutes none of our order had arrived. My wife went to the counter to seek the whereabouts of our food only to be told that our order had gone missing SERIOUSLY?? Anyhow being a patient person she gave our order for the third time. At this point drinks and food began to arrive. Unfortunately, we only received 3 drinks. So one more time we had to ask what happened to the fourth drink it was lost (of course! . OK moving on from that debacle to the food and drink My older daughter and I had one of the specials which was savory waffles with mushrooms etc. Mine was tasty and good. My daughter 's was served cold. My wife had the 'build your own ' omelette. What arrived wasn 't an omelette. It was scrambled eggs with the other ingredients plonked alongside the egg. Our experience is that the ingredients are incorporated into the omelette. Disappointing. My younger daughter had the egg and bacon roll. She didn 't enjoy the bacon on the roll. Perhaps a local speciality but not to her liking The drinks (when they arrived were good. My older daughter had the Oh Em Gee smoothie; I had the Kingston wake up. My wife had a cappuccino and other daughter an orange juice. They had a good range of teas which looked interesting although we didn 't try them I reckon if they could sort their ordering process; serve the food at the same time and serve it hot they 'd be close to a winner. Until they can get their act together, I 'd avoid this cafe."

"Lots of people told us this was great, but we weren't that impressed. Good size portions and reasonable value, so we'll probably be coming back. Maybe try for a superior fish next time."

"Went to the Flight Deck on Saturday for a late lunch. We were asked to take a seat from a man behind the bar and he would be with us in a minute, so we sat at the windows watching the planes. There was one other table of 5 people there so it was far from busy. We waited for 15 min for the man behind the bar or one of the other staff members to bring us a menu or even come over to our table, they didn't. I hope the food is worth the wait if you want to wait that long. We got up and left. Really disappointed as it "was" a great place to sit and watch the planes while having a nice meal or a drink when the previous owners were there."
