"Hmmm, recommended by our hotel, this is a big knock against them. You can sit inside like an HS cafeteria or outside in a very nice small garden area on the street. In nine days in Portugal, this is the only time we had a difficult time. You want Prawns, they serve the kilo, but couldn't tell us how many would be in a kilo. When we asked them to turn it into grams. Not so helpful if we have no idea how many grams a yarn is or a lobster we really wanted. No pages. They made it seem like two yarns were $80 without sides. We have ordered other, more reasonable things and it was all cold and not good (Kramsandwich, for example). The locals I talked to were exploited because we were tourists. The only time in Portugal when we didn't feel comfortable. Stay away, IMO."

"We stumbled upon this gem of a place on our last day in Lisbon. Turned out to be out best meal in Lisbon. We both had delicious steak sandwiches, salads and a pavlova. The ambience in the place was so relaxing the service was very pleasant and attentive. It was also very reasonably priced. I'd rarely leave a review without suggesting one area of improvement but we couldn't fault Mami."

"So far the best restaurant we have been in Lisbon. Great cosy ambiance, attentive and helpful staff and indeed perfect food. Scallop risotto was the star of the table. Extraordinary. 10/10 Baked Nisa cheese with bacon was great. Do not forget to ask for the bread basket as an accompany. 8/10 Indian curry prawns with rice was good with nice texture. 8/10 Truffle mustard croqquette was a delish starter. 7/10 Will definitely be back to try their risotto. It will be nice to pair with Jose Avillez white house wine."
