"This restaurant came recommended by two sets of Crans Montana habitués so we had high hopes for it. As soon we were seated we felt pressurized to choose our food, eat fast and leave. And the experience was not at all pleasant. Our waitress had...the temerity to tell us to hurry up and finish our appetizers as the main courses were ready. This was barely 10 minutes after we had started eating. The aubergine starter was good and went well with our bottle of traditional Gamay. The courgette allumettes were crispy on the outside and tender inside, and as we were sharing them, our waitress got impatient and rudely dumped the last few pieces on our plates so that she could clear the table. My homemade ribbons of pasta were okay, with an aubergine and smoked cheese sauce. My husband’s tuna with beetroot and romanesco broccoli was nicely seared but the presentation was odd. However, yet again, we felt rushed as the waitstaff came over numerous times to see if we were done. Same story with our dessert and coffees. We were asked to choose and the waitstaff kept hovering until we had done so. We had a 7pm booking and had promised to release the table at 9pm. In fact, we left by 8:30pm and neither the waitstaff nor the manager bothered to say goodbye or help us find our coats. I appreciate that it was a busy Friday night but the manner in which we were treated does not make us want to return even though we will be back to Crans quite often. A very disappointing experience overall."

"There is a big sign Burger Lounge and if you are not a burger fan in Swiss alps, you may stray away from this place. But, it’s also a restaurant, and that a pretty much good one. Of course, there is a room for improvement here if you ask me e.g., salad dressing a bit too sour, slower service at time. The fact that the one of the owners is also a Chef speaks for itself. Everything we ate here on a several occasions was tasteful and freshly made. Fries are the best I had in a long time and Wiener Schnitzel cooked to perfection! Don’t miss on their lovely fresh Apricot Pie which is served on a platter, again tastefully and lovely presented. The service was great, except one lady which spoke only French and was not so friendly, but the Chef made for it with a small involvement in between. It’s not nice to dine with unfriendly personal and that is why I took one star away. Thank you."
