"I reviewed Bistro Fanny back in 2014. Three years later we're back passing through Frontignan and booked in for a Friday lunch with friends. Just as well we booked the place was full, business has grown since we were last here and it's great to see standards not only maintained but if anything improved. Let's start with the service.....everything you want it to be....friendly, welcoming, polite, courteous, helpful to a fault......I've paid a lot more and got a lot less elsewhere over the years so well done Fanny.Next the menu....a moderate but varied menu and something for most palates and all reasonably priced, plus the plat du jour....this time is was cuttlefish on the plancha...two of our table ordered it and it was tender and delicious with a little garlic,olive oil and parsley.....simple and done well. Another had the steak tartare which was also very good and copious in size......I had the magret du canard....tender as can be and cooked perfectly for me.Couldn't resist dessert so a mix of panacotta, tarte aux pommes and crème caramel....all home made and delicious.The wine list provincial and simple but inexpensive and the local muscat sec was excellent.So value for money.....aperatifs, mains, dessert, a bottle of mineral water for the table, two bottles of wine and I coffee the bill came to 58 euros per couple.....I'd say that was excellent value for the quality, quantity and service.Will we be back .....You bet we will.Should you try it out ? ......Mad if you don't!!Good coffee ....bien sur!"

"We tried to make lunch in Sete yesterday but couldn't get parked and on a hunch drove to Frontignan. We drove past this place which was quite busy so we parked up, and we're we glad we did. Clean, nicely presented open restaurant, great choice of salads and fresh fish as well as meat, indoor BBQ to grill it on, short but decent wine list. I had carpaccio which came with a huge plate of chips and salad, other half had 6 king prawns with chips and salad, we had a bottle of rose and it was €50 and all DELICIOUS! Staff were very attentive and friendly, spoke English (not that we're bothered) the toilets were spotless - there's nothing bad to say about the place. I've made a note of it so we can swing by and lunch here again next year!"
