"I had read a few of the reviews previously from Americans who said they were mistreated at this restaurant, but in all honesty figured that they might have been unaccustomed to restaurants in Europe as they typically have a different level of service than we...are used to in the US. Unfortunately their reviews proved correct in our case. Our waiter came over to us to take our order and started by asking us if we spoke English. When we replied yes, he said he had to come back and proceeded to go around and take orders and serve other tables. There was no discernible reason why he could not take our order at that point as he still ultimately ended up taking our order about 15 minutes later (so no language barrier). He ignored us for the rest of the visit, and failed to tell me that my order which was to have truffles would be coming without as they were out of them. The hostess ultimately gave us our dinners and explained this to me. As the truffles were why I ordered the dish-I was very disappointed and our meal was average at best. There were many positive reviews of this restaurant, so we were looking forward to it-but ultimately would not recommend to English speakers. Being that this restaurant is associated with a hotel, I would think they would be accommodating to all nationalities."

"Wonderful room, wonderful staff always very nice and helpful! Very next to the lake and in the city center, very calm although. The only complain, and I understand it is not possible: unfortunately it is not at all a place for people with physical problems, the only lift is after a long stairs, and then when it arrives you need to go upstairs or downstairs again to get to your room. But everything was very nice!"

"Mit der heutigen gruppe war die linde heute wohl etwas überfordert. Jedenfalls erhielten 3 von uns mit demselben wochenhit völlig verschieden grosse portionen. Ich mag manchmal in restaurants nicht ein ganzes menü. Heute aber wurde ich nicht satt. Das passiert mir äusserst selten. ich wurde nicht gefragt, ob ich zufrieden war. Der preis ist für diese 1 frühlingsrolle plus ein bisschen gemüsespaghetti mit 17 fr. Überrissen. Zumindest hätte eine suppe dazu gehört, wie bei den menüs angeboten, zumal dies auch das einzige vegiangebot der karte war."
