"Near Barcelona 15 minutes drive in the upscale neighborhood Sant Cugat you find this Hidden Gem. It's an small bistrot, decorated classically, perfect for a clandestine business meal or a romantic escapade. The menu is composed of spanish old time classics but all...executed with an original twist. I've been 4 times already and it's magnificent. Also pricey around 70 € per person but money well spent. They have quite special paella, interesting fish and local mushrooms. Yesterday I split with my wife a Maine Lobster Canelloni and Beans from Tolosa. As a main I had an impressive filet mignon with home made crisps which was memorable. For dessert I chose a dark cocoa 70% chocolate ice cream which was intense as a dinner with Naomi Campbell or at least that's why I imagine !!! Apart from the price I love everything. Pedro the owner serves you personally and if you are a foodie this is the hidden place to be."

"Me and my wife have been in Sant Cugat about15-20 times but never found this pearl. Tonight we had dinner here. La Tartine is a very cousy place with food that has top quality. The service was very good and helpful in recomending food and a wine that was good with the food. The taste of the food was exiting and with really god quality. We can recommend the Tartine very much."
