"I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and think it serves high-quality food in a very pleasant setting. The only reason it doesn't get an "Excellent" rating is because it is somewhat formal and on the more expensive side of things - even by Zurich standards. The restaurant is at very convenient and central location close to the Bellevue tram stop. The interiors are what I'd call "traditionally Swiss", i.e. simple in form, but probably very expensive. The restaurant is spacious with two sit-outs, one in a small garden area, and the other in a much larger space (: on the opposite side of the main entrance, and on a different street facing the river :) with an outdoor bar for those after-work drinks. Furnishing and overall ambience are very pleasant. This is a very popular, somewhat upmarket joint with clientele from the nearby "ghetto", i.e. the financial services business district in that area.The food is very goo, and anything I've eaten here from the meatloaf to the tiramisu has always been amongst the very best in quality. The prices are higher than the Zurich average from what I recall, but I reckon they are about right when you consider the location, ambience, service, food quality etc. I reckon a meal, i.e. salad, main course, dessert and some wine, would cost at least CHF 65 or so. I remember that my bill was in that ballpark even though I skipped the salad -- but I did order the meatloaf which cost about CHF 45, and that was a higher priced entree.Staff and service were pleasant.Overall, this is a great restaurant/bar and it is definitely worth a visit if you are okay with the price range."
