"Ignore the "when did you travel?" question although I had to fill it in. I'm a resident. Canton House was the best in town until Golden Gate (in the plaza where Subway is) came a couple of years ago. Canton House has take out only, and the menu is pleasant, but I wish it had more variety. The spring rolls are very good, as is the Chicken Soo Gai. But I haven't been back as I'm addicted to the lunch buffet at Golden Gate, sorry."

"We decided to try the marina/restaurant despite some not so nice reviews but to our pleasant surprise the stop was a gem! We are always looking for goid places to boat to. The drinks and beer were cold and refreshing and the perch and pickerel...baskets were excellent hot, tasty, great fries. The wait staff were friendly and the boater's view of the marina and water were like being on an island paradise somewhere! And on the Detroit River yes! There is a nice park atmosphere around the restaurant and the marina itself was neat and accommodating to dock in boats up to 30 ft or so. Now mind you, there are some things needing a little tweaking such as repair of the pizza oven and their draft beer tap was broken. But given it was their last weekend of the summer hopefully next year will bring a few upgrades for our definite return."

"If you enjoy a good black angus steak, maple crusted salmon, great perch, with twice baked stuffed potato, perfectly steamed fresh vegetables , it the best French Onion soup as good as Ye Ol Steak House of Windsor used to have, this is the place ! The breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings is very very good, and reasonably priced. The staff couldn't be nicer ! I LOVE that the decor has not changed.....it's as charming now as it was in the sixties! Will miss it very much if it's sold ,"

"Arriving here it looks like pub like atmosphere. Besides having an in door dining are they also had outdoor tables. Very nice. It was our first time here. They had a great variety of food let alone a nice bar menu. They had everything from burgers to pizza. The pizza oven could be scene in the dining room. Very nice. There were 4 adult and 2children. They didn't have children menus but they improvised to their liking. I had the perch dinner. Excellent. They said it wasn't Lake Erie perch but perch from Europe. I was hesitant on ordering that but I'm glad I did. Very good. The rest of the party had Surf Turf tacos which they also said excellent. The other person had the halibut fish chips which was shared by the child. The other child had chicken strips and fries. They gave good portions and all was very good. For the six of us to eat there came to about $130.00. We did not order any alcohol, just sofa drinks. I we'll definitely come back. Very nice atmosphere restaurant."
