"Hard to find a better and more elegant restaurant next to a golf course anywhere in the world! Excellent and reative cocktails were joyfully suggested (e.g., strawberry daiquiri, virgin mojito, etc.! We then had a really superb soup and two excellent meat dishes, with...a ample choice of of vegetables and potatoes/french fries to select from as side orders. Also the desserts are notably good. And host Jens is not only a joyful personality but also very attentive and discret in serving the tables and its guests. Really recommendable! Not only the restaurant, but also playing golf on the highest altitude golf course in Europe!"

"Zum Nachtessen haben wir das Restaurant Touringstübli ausgewählt. Das Restaurant ist relativ klein, eine nette Dame im Service reicht hier gut aus. Jedoch ist eine griesgrämige Chefin immer mit von der Partie. Als erstes wurden wir nach den später eintreffenden Gästen bedient, hoppla? Wir bestellten 3 x Zürcher geschnetzeltes Kalbfleisch (auf der Karte mit Reis/Teigwaren zu ca. Fr. 35.--) und wünschen aber dazu Rösti. Die Bedienung meinte zu unserem Wunsch, kein Problem. So weit so gut. Als die Chefin das erfuhr, wurde das Fräulein (keine 2 Meter neben uns) doch massiv zurecht gewiesen, dass das nicht gehe, da das viel mehr Arbeit gäbe und dass das je Gedeck Fr. 2.-- mehr kosten würde. Nun muss man wissen das es Leberli mit Rösti, wesentlich günstiger auf der Karte hatte. Als nach etwa zwei Minuten stand die Frau Direktorin mürrisch an unserem Tisch und sagte uns, kostet dann Fr. 2.-- mehr, wegen Mehrarbeit und verschwand auf nimmerwiedersehen. Gut so, denn die Bedienung war nett, die Chefin unwürdig und das Essen gut, nicht Spitze, aber auch nicht schlecht. Wir verzichten fortan auf solche Gastgeber."

"From the outside, this place looks like a standard alpine restaurant. However, don't judge the book by its cover: The food was really great! Also, there were several vegetarian options.Only thing they could improve: The staff was friendly, but more of a superficial than genuine friendliness."

"Nice and easy place I enjoy fine dining very much and try to seek out hidden gems. However I have never had to pay 12 francs for bread in my life. The first basket is given on arrival while most of us eat while sipping...our Apero drink then of course you need a little more for your salad. Then you get the bill and see you have been charged. I never confronted the waiter as that is not my style. But it has been bugging me since. Of course we will not return....just the principle There is even a price on the menu."

"Wir waren zwar auf "Wild" eingestellt und weil wir draussen beim Eingang auf dem "Stopper" das auch gelesen haben, haben wir das Restaurant besucht. Beim bestellen wurden wir herb enttäuscht, weil alles schon weg gegessen war...Dann haben wir uns dann mit einem Cordonbleu-Quellenhof angefreundet. Das war lecker und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Noch ein Tip für den Wein: der Maxwell Four Roads ist sehr gehaltvoll und im Preis auch super! :-)"
