"Stopped in here based on reviews that I read. We had a large party of 11 people. Waited about an hour and 10 minutes until we were seated. Not to big of a problem, because I figured about an hour wait before we arrived, thanks to a call ahead of time tothe restaurant. There is no reservations here, she first come, first serve. For our apps, we got the calamari, fried gatortail, raw oysters and mini blue crab bites. Oysters were good, crab bites were extremely good, gator tail was just ok and thecalamari was not a hit. On to the main dishes. Crab Stew, baked stuffed Grouper with Scallops, steak, shrimp tacos, etc. Thecrab Stew was absolutely delicious and packed full of crab meat. The stuffed Grouper was very good, as well as the seafoodstuffing it came with. The scallops were a complete miss. We got them broiled and they were way overcooked, shriveled up and abit chewy. The shrimp tacos were very good. Also had a fried flounder dish at the table and it was cooked well and tastedgreat. The steak was a miss as well, but I told my wife not to order steak from a seafood restaurant anyhow, so not pointstaken for that. Overall,it was a pleasant experience and the food was good. We will definitely go back. Our waitress (Brooke)was on point, attentive and pleasant to talk to. Very helpful. Give this place a try!"

"Great! I tried On The Rocks when they first opened, it was probably five years ago. To be honest, the quality and taste of the food was met or missed in the first years. I visited a wedding party dinner at On The Rocks last night? I'm telling you, they've chosen everything! The service was spectacular, the food was delicious! All in our party of 16 absolutely enjoyed every single meal that was ordered! I recommend On The Rocks and will be fed here often! So convenient to Pine Knoll Shores and Atlantic Beach areas. Has the owner and staff for great food and great service!!!???? update 9-24-2022 again after a fabulous experience. This time out? very courteous and fast service on the phone. The order was finished in 20 minutes as promised. The food was delicious. ? On the rocks was still constant! Look at her!"

"The best Greek food in mayport. Very reasonably priced and it has great lunches. I'd highly recommend the gyro plate or wrap. They also have great fries. You can get the gyro meat without bread and put it on a Greek salad. If you're looking to get a good filling meal for less than $13 this is the place. Great for all you sailors out of mayport naval station"

"AMAZING! We started with the pork carving, yellow tail carpaccio, charred octopus (wow that octopus) and the scallop lure for an app! All delicious! For dinner we have 4 Entrees and common family style! We had roasted chicken (best chicken dish I have ever eaten), ribeye, snapper and sheephead fish especially. Everything perfectly cooked! What a great addition to Jax! Chef Chris and his staff are the best notch! Thanks for the experience!"

"Best restaurant on Atlantic Beach! Breakfast or dinner - great menu! You let me select things from the breakfast and lunch menu. They are very flexible! Service is friendly and excellent. Very clean. Someone was on a ladder cleaning the ceiling fans and ventilation openings! Menu is diverse and offers many options. I love this place! Oh, yeah, the food is really good."
