"Stopped here while biking through Berthierville. The server suggested the Table d'hôte, which included soup, main, dessert and coffee. Excellent cabbage soup and fries with the hot hamburger. Overall, a very good meal for a great price. The only drawback is they aren't licenced so the hoped-for beer on this hot day had to be replaced by a root beer."

"Employees not clear on what's allowed, called prior to coming in if my pup would be okay to be with me on patio and when I got here, I was told my pup would have to be on other side of window on grass??"

"That's the right place if you want to make you say things like: ben here, that's how we do this. or if you go back to an unmangeable dish a waitress will tell you: we tasted it in the kitchen and we find it good. ah yes, my wife hated the shrimp with their overy butter. She couldn't eat anything. Even returning the plate, you will have to pay 50% anyway. completely ridiculous and not professional. If I ever give the least dollar back to that place, it'll be to buy a gift certificate for my worst enemy. so 1 star because it is not possible to put zero star."

"Stopped here on our way to Quebec City because it was convenient to the highway. My steak was dry and overcooked. Wife's poutine was good. I spoke to the hostess in my relatively poor French with no trouble, but our server switched over to English pretty quickly and didn't seem very thrilled about it. Observed the manager being gruff with a kitchen employee who looked harried; the same manager had a much friendlier demeanor when he thanked us for eating there as we were leaving. My biggest gripe would be that the food is overpriced for the quality; other than that it's a pretty standard-fare highway full-service chain restaurant, comparable by US standards to a Ryan's or Golden Corral without the buffet."
