"Near the exit of the motorway in biarritz, going to bidart. went with a friend to biarritz rainy Sunday at noon. we parked at the door. we ate very nicely and very rich. Churrasco chicken with fries and gratined cod. to drink we take a white porto and a green wine. Very rich. from dessert cream and coffee cakes. There were three more busy tables. They were all Portuguese. a simple and clean restaurant, with a letter without complications and what they do, they do well. for those who drop portugal and their food, like me."

"4 adults we booked a table and chose a selection of tapas to start,they were all well made very tasty and colourful. Three of us followed up with mussels and chips and the fourth had grilled hake with fresh noodles and vegetables. For puddings we had two creme caramels ,one gateau basque and a coffee ice cream. Simple food very well cooked and presented by a delightful young waitress, I can see why they were turning people away. We had a thoroughly delightful evening sitting outside listening to live music from across the square."
