"Just had lunch here for the first time and I must say this is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants at the lake. The chips were warm, the food was awesome, the service was excellent and the price was reasonable. Whenever I am in Camdenton again and hungry I'm there!"

"It's a local diving bar where the locals hang around. We had the chicken steak, a French diving sandwich and a cup of chili. Our food came hot and fresh. The French dip had added onions and mushrooms, and when it was combined with the au juice, it was removable. Her chicken fried steaks were on the big side. They were tender and fritted to a golden brown. The engraving needed some salt and pepper, but this was easily solved by us at our table. The chili was a little gland. I'm sure there was something missing. (May be chili powder? Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Just remember that there is a bar, and there are cigarette smoking and sometimes the music can be a little loud. If you want good food for a really decent price, this place is worth checking."

"Nice lunch with my mother at the Chuckwagon Cafe! The Greek salad was amazing. The dressing was the best. My mother had the same, except a grilled chicken breast. They also have a fish fillet that can be placed on the salad. The staff was great, even if they were among servants. Not her fault, everyone has trouble working people. I'm telling BRAVO! Lunch was GREAT."

"A little busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a seat. The server was attentive and timely. We all enjoyed our food a little too much, lol. I must say I had the best Omelet I ever had. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you receive."
